This hotel is very convenient being next to the Brisbane train network.
Pros:

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station; it is only about 500 m away. The staff on reception were very helpful and the restaurant is right there on the ground level.

Taringa hotel stay
Pros:

We stayed at Essence Suites Taringa when ever we arrived in Brisbane. The hotel had maintained its quality right through. Easy location, convenient train to CBD.

This was well priced convenient and clean accommodation perfect for a visit to Brisbane’s western suburbs.
Pros:

The room was soundproof despite being right next to the trees in station. The view from the room was great - we could even see the mountains around Beaudesert and the Gold Coast hinterland as well as the pretty streets in Taringa across the railway line. The shower was excellent - a walk in with a big shower head & plenty of water pressure. I liked the fact the mugs were large (usually they are tiny in hotel rooms). the room was spacious for a hotel room and had a dining table and chairs as well as a coffee table and chairs without feeling cramped.

It was disappointing as it was not worth $300+ dollars for one night.
Pros:

The layout was good in the suite

Cons:

How disgusting the taps were they need to be looked at the rim. The showers look like they have mold. Why wasn’t there soap at the sink? Or an option for it we had to keep going to the shower to wash our hands. Just cleanliness was not great.
