Amenities like tissues were not provided, and the elevator was out of service during the day, which made carrying luggage difficult. For the price point, I expected more consistent service and better upkeep. I'd recommend the property improve maintenance reliability and ensure basic room supplies are consistently available.

The view was best thing.

Cons:

The split bed matress instead of one queen size matress was super uncomfortable and kept on splitting apart while laying on the bed. I kept on having to get off the bed to puch them together and them getting back to bed to sleep comfortably.

An amateur hotel operation.
Pros:

Nice riverside location outside the old city but still on a buzzy zone (around Saarbrucken Square).

Cons:

A day before check-in for a two-night stay, I received notification that the room I had booked and paid for was no longer available. They had overbooked the first night. They found me alternative accommodation very close by which was appreciated but the double-shift was a nuisance. They let me check in early next day but at 12.30 when I was several kms away at the other end of town, they asked me to come back and change rooms because I’d been assigned to the wrong one. Then they insisted on crediting my first night’s stay in cash which I didn’t want (and they didn’t even have quite enough to do so in full). Fawlty Tower Georgia!
