The staff was very friendly and informative about the area. The staff was all Christians and it showed how they interacted with you. Make sure you use mapquest, google maps, etc., since the signage to the facility is not very good.

When we book the room, they promised a free wine bottle and we never received it.
But other than that, we had a good experience

Since the moment you arrive to the front gate you're greeted by 24hr. security. You'll drive through the enchanting vineyards to reach your private villa. You won't be disappointed, other than a look warm shower. Just ask them to turn up the water heater.

Really nice place surrounded by vineyards. Eight villas in the property- very peaceful and clean. Breakfast was excellent.

Nice property. But I expect wine tasting and there were no night time activities.

My husband and I only stayed one night but we will definitely be returning. It was very accessible, centrally located and paved road up to the front gate. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was stocked with everything needed for our stay...basic toiletries, coffee and water. We were able to adjust the temperature of the room to our desired temp, so slept very comfortable. The property is very well kept, clean and peaceful. We walked the grounds and felt very safe. The front gate is monitored 24/7 by guard at the gate. Our room included breakfast, which were very tasty chilaquiles, eggs and beans with coffee and juice. The price was very reasonable. We highly recommend Rancho Los Retoños.

A beautiful place to stay

I highly recommend this lovely vineyard and the peaceful setting. We were in Villa Siena and had a lovely view of the property. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. The bottle of wine upon our arrival was amazing and we enjoyed it on the patio after our long day of travel. Breakfast the following morning was delicious. There are several delicious restaurants in the area for dinner. Unfortunately we found many of them say they are open until 9 or 9:30 but the kitchen closes at 7:30 or 8. Therefore, we traveled down the road to Ensenada to dine.
If you have time, the tour/vine tasting at LA Cetto is nice!

Very friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed, close to many vineyards and restaurants.

We arrived late and the security guard was waiting to escort us to our room. Excellent service.

Los Retoños it’s a very nice and quiet place.
However very hard to find if you are not familiar with the area and even more so if you arrive late in the evening. The signs that points out to the location is worn out and you can spendhour upon hours trying to find out the place

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Valle Guadalupe. We chose this place for the location and it did not disappoint. We were surrounded by wineries within very close driving distance. Also, the free breakfast was delicious!

This hotel is really wonderful

The property itself is very basic, very limited hot water, took cold showers everyday. Broken outdoor lights and dogs roam the property at all hours, barking and begging for food and water. The hotel manager does not seem to take care of their animals, there were 3 adult dogs that slept outside in the rain, did not have shelter, beds, food or water. One of them bit someone in our party. There were also 5 puppies and 2 peacocks they had in a cage, the pen was covered in feces with no food or water and they kept the mother dog away from the puppies. It was truly heartbreaking. Our party gave the dogs the food and water we had, but I fear for them now that we’ve left.

The hotel manager was not at all helpful, I asked for a few more hangers that never came, the window blinds in my room broke the first night and he never fixed them, they laid on the floor the rest of time. No outdoor fires or other ways to be warm outside in the winter was disappointing. Overall, it was fine but I would not recommend. I am sure there are much better places to stay in the Valle and how they treat their animals is appalling.

Absolutely charming property with plenty of privacy from other residents. The employees were friendly and attentive, the room was clean and came with the amenities we need. They offered a free bottle of wine, water, beer, and some juice and sodas. The breakfast was chilaquiles, beans, eggs, accompanied by a cup of coffee. Will absolutely come back!

El único pero, es el ruido del generador o aire acondicionado - calefacción, yo tengo el sueño muy ligero, mi pareja ni se enteró del ruido, para nada le molestó!

Exelent staff very friendly and the room was super clean the breakfast delicious! By far the best place to stay :)
