Pros:

Beautiful!
Very accommodating to an American who doesn’t speak much English. The staff was very helped and patient with me.
The hotel was extremely clean and convenient.
Great restaurant attached with Japanese and American food options.
Thank you to all of the wonderful staff.

Excellent Location near Kyoto Station. convenient to commute; the hotel is clean and stuff are trying to help;
however- this hotel is a place to spend the night and not a hotel you like to enjoy the room and the facilities; it is rather functional than a destination;

This hotel was amazing! It was right across from the main Kyoto station and after the long trip it was the perfect distance. The staff were super friendly and helpful when checking in and asking for info about the city. The room was fantastic, roomy (by Japan standards). Bathroom was great! I definitely recommend this hotel! Breakfast buffet option is great as it offers lots of Japanese and western foods.

We enjoyed our three nights at Hotel Vischio! The location is very conveniently located by the main train station and we found many places to be in walking distance as well.
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great, we really enjoyed using the pool facilities at the end of the day.

I like the proximity to Kyoto Station and the convenience with taking the airport limousine to Kansai airport. The location is very well connected to many forms of public transport that can take you to most tourist spots in Kyoto. A lot of food options and convenience store around. Hotel facilities include a gym and public bath, which is greatly appreciated.
