シングルルームにソファとデスクがあって便利だった

Alles rundum perfekt. Frühstück 10/10, Zimmer auch super, man kann sich nicht beschweren

Cons:

Minimal weiche Matratze für meinen Geschmack und Lage auch eher etwas abseits aber 5 Minuten zur nächsten Station ist trotzdem voll gut

Highly recommend Hotel Anteroom!
Pros:

We were a little worried as rooms in Japan are normally small but we had a twin room with lots of space - sitting area to write at a table and a lovely sized bathroom. Breakfast was definitely sufficient. The location seemed a little remote but actually was ideal for getting to all areas… just need to walk 8 mins. OVerall an excellent experience and we were a little sad to leave.

The staff are nice, friendly and mostly helpful.
The lobby and bar areas are very cool. Very clean.
However…
Beware that they have different categories of rooms, some rooms are very nice. Mine was unfortunately small and rather dated, however the bed was surprisingly very comfortable and the bed linen of very good quality.
I stayed almost for two weeks and booked well in advance, however, on arrival they tried to give me the room just next to the elevator, but when I said it’s unacceptable they quickly changed it.
When I was making a reservation there were no other category of rooms available but I would strongly recommend to book a renovated room.

Cons:

I asked if I can get or purchase a sleeping shirt that they make available at the rooms, because I really liked it, but they refused. I still don’t understand why.

Enttäuschend und nicht empfehlenswert
Pros:

Das Konzept, aus einem maroden Industriegebäude ein Hotel zu machen, kann man unterschiedlich umsetzen und ist auch nichts Neues. Das Ergebnis ist jeweils Geschmackssache. Deshalb an dieser Stelle ein Hinweis:
Hier überwiegt der "robuste Charm" deutlich und ist deshalb nicht jedermanns Sache. Auf den Fluren mit den Zimmertüren aus Blech kommt eher ein Gefühl von Haftanstalt auf. Insgesamt hätte man hier mehr gestalten können, um eine wohnliche Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Die Hotelbesucher sind weitüberwiegend westliche Touristen, davon nicht wenige "Backpacker". Insgesamt hat das Hotel eher das Erscheinungsbild einer Jugendherberge, so dass die Bilder auf der booking.com-Homepage durchaus übertriebene Erwartungen wecken.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist selbst im Vergleich zu Budget-Hotels "unterirdisch". Als tolles Konzept gepriesen, gibt es zwei kleine Stullen. Ist man kein Fan dieses "Konzepts", bleibt das restliche Frühstücksangebot sehr überschaubar: Rohkostsalate, Müsli, Joghurt, sehr weiches Rührei und ungenießbare Würstchen. Japanische Frühstückskomponenten fehlen vollständig. Wer Japan sucht, ist hier falsch. Wer westliches Frühstück will, muss zumindest nicht hungern, hat aber auch ein sehr überschaubares Angebot.
Das Hotel könnte eine Hausdame vertragen, die die Qualität der Zimmerreinigung kontrolliert. Unter dem überwölbenden Waschbeckenrand im Bad fand sich Schimmel und Dreck (hatte dort jemand Schuhe oder Wäsche gewaschen? Man sieht es nur, wenn man in der Badewanne sitzt), am Boden und in der Wanne schwarze lange Haare (von vorherigen Gästen?). Großflächiges Abstauben täte auch Not.

Excellent breakfast. A comfortable room with a desk -- no fuss, no clutter. Good place if you need to do some work.

Cons:

I am not a great fan of "contemporary art" in the lobby (the patio garden with white gravel is so much nicer than what hangs in the windows).

Convenient and easy. Cheap.
Pros:

The front reception staff was amazing! Friendly, kind, and helpful. The bathroom was spacious and plenty of hot water. We used their laundry facilities and it was easy and accessible. I also loved the bath salts available.

Cons:

Our room had a dank smell every time we walked in. It had a concrete floor instead of any carpet. The wooden tub we paid extra for, was not any better than a regular one. The pillows were hard. The breakfast had a lot of variety but eggs were so under cooked. We asked them to cook something for us and one person said yes, but the next morning they said no, so we just took our food to the microwave in the hallway and used that.
