Staypineapple, An Artful Hotel, Midtown New York

Always a great stay at this hotel! Comfortable bed and the decor is so fun. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating!

Includes snacks and drinks. Free water bottle and water at hotel. Location was great however it’s just off 8th Avenue which is full of homeless. Tip: We walked down 6th or 7th and cut across which was perfect.

The location was perfect!! Walkable distance to many places and a hop skip and a jump to the subway. After walking roughly 7-10 miles a day during a heat wave, coming back to our rooms we walked into cool air, fresh towels and perfectly made beds along with our youngest childs stuffed animals sweetly placed on her pillow. The front desk staff were super sweet an the hotel itself was very clean and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again! The connector rooms were FANTASTIC!!!

This hotel was in the perfect location. There is someone on reception 24/7 which was perfect for our late flight and getting to the hotel at 1am. The room was clean with everything we needed. The air con worked perfectly and the shower was hot and powerful. The bed was the best I have ever slept in. If only I could have taken it home lol. It was my birthday when we arrived and they put balloons, some sweets and a beautiful birthday card into the room. I loved the pineapple decor along with the mugs with coffee making facilities, water bottle with refill station and super soft robes to wear during our stay. It was the best hotel I could have stayed in and great way to celebrate my 40th birthday and our wedding anniversary. Thank you to everyone.

Staff are just great and helpful with anything we needed

Literal perfection. I truly enjoy this hotel . I come to New York multiple times a year for theater and have stayed here on multiple occasions. I love the complimentary sodas and snacks and the occasional cookies. My rooms have always been immaculately cleaned and the bedding is incredible. What I love the most is the incredible customer service provided by your front desk personnel. There has always been a warm greeting every time I have been a guest and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I would like to give shout outs to Kayla, Freddie and Lieza for their continued helpfulness. I highly recommend this property and will most assuredly return in the future.

Excellent experience from the time of check-in to check-out. So many clever touches at this conveniently located Midtown hotel and super-friendly and helpful staff. The room was not as small as some NYC hotels and made excellent use of the space, not unlike hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo that know how to utilize space.

I'm a Marriott points hog but opted to try the StayPinepapple and forego the points in large part because my wife loves pineapple themed things, and did this hotel ever come through.

Unique things included
-aluminum pineapple-themed water bottles that could be refilled in the lobby that we took with us during a very warm spell
-comfy bathrobes
- two duvets on a very comfortable bed so we weren't fighting over covers
-in-room coffee maker (ours was Cooley, which had a unique system that made excellent drip coffee without the use of plastic pods that are not environmentally friendly
-with no desk or easy chairs, the pull out writing/computer desk on bedside table was very handy, along with the round stool that fit underneath the table
-"get naked" (their phrase, not mine) bathrobes
-lots of cabinet space in bathroom
-wall hooks near entrance door
-free loaner bicycles (we did not take advantage of these)
-very pet friendly

Highly recommend and will repeat in NYC and look for StayPineapple in other cities.

Great location. The staff was great. But the room was possibly small. One could barely move around the king size bed. It felt like you were sleeping in the closet.

I've stayed here several times now and I can't fault it.
The staff are helpful and very friendly.
Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are cute and compact.
Very clean .
The only downside on this visit which is no fault of the hotel , my room was dark as it was an inside room but saying that it was very quiet.

The location couldn't have been better — just steps from the train station. The staff were welcoming and highly professional, and the room was spotless and charming. The flexibility to drop off my luggage before check-in and after check-out was a wonderful touch. I'll definitely be returning!
