Convenient and still value for money
Pros:

Ideally located close to lectures and large car park.

Cons:

Room was okay but TV was tiny, the remote barely worked. Also, breakfast was being served in Reggies instead of the usual banquet room, with machine served coffee instead of fresh pots.

On the whole lovely stay
Pros:

Was very clean and rooms decorated nicely the whole building was immaculate

Cons:

Booked a double room but only left towels cups etc for single room so couldn’t get hold of reception so went down to collect

Don’t bother. Pay an extra £50 to go somewhere better.

Ample Parking. Downstairs public rooms spacious.

Cons:

The bedrooms are tiny. I’ve had a bigger room on a cruise ship. The walls are paper thin. I could hear children running up and down the corridor and shooting. Plus people coughing in a nearby room. When I say tiny, the extremely uncomfortable bed is a 4’ double. That fills the room. Barely room for an old fashioned desk beside the bed. For the price it is very poor value. Did I say the room was tiny. This hotel
Is an ex RAF officers barracks. The rooms were designed as single officer accommodations. There has been no expense made in the beds. They are the cheapest of the cheap. Very uncomfortable. I booked a double for 2 people. Towels and tea etc were for 1 person. I had to ask for a 2nd set and was told they could give it to me to take up myself. There are no lifts in the property. There is no air conditioning in the room. They did provide a noisy fan. The shower room was decent. Good shower. Towels nice and fluffy and large. No USB chargers for phones or laptops.

A great place for an overnight stop or a short stay
Pros:

The atmosphere on the Cranfield University campus was quite different from the budget chain hotels where we normally stay. Very relaxed and relaxing, The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped - no air con but fan provided. The en suite was particularly well planned and everything was spotlessly clean.
The restaurant and bar were very quiet when we were there in July, and the gardens were well kept with well spaced outdoor seating.

Fantastic place and people. Will definitely go back any time I’m heading to Silverstone for the Grand Prix
