Loved the location. Siting on the Maxwell MRT line, perfect to travel all over and get to all the attractions. Breakfast options very adequate and to a great standard. Very clean hotel.

L'accueil par l'officier sikh et le décor colonial très British sont exceptionnels, du jamais vu. Le dîner est également un très grand moment (cher également mais cela vaut le coup). Très bon petit déjeuner. Ne pas y aller pour la piscine mais pour une atmosphère incomparable. Chinatown (où est l'hôtel) est un quartier très agréable.

Great staff, good heritage location and good soundproofing and a great colonial feel to the property . Breakfast was nice but the bacon needed less cooking !!

The location of Maxwell is unbeaten - it is close to the MRT and in the heart of Chinatown. My room was immaculate and the inside of the hotel is stunning. Breakfast needs some work. The portions are very small (pictures) and the staff were a little rude and rushing me through my meal. I got it included in the room but if it’s an add-on, skip it and go to a hawker centre instead - there’s one a 2 min walk away. My room wasn’t accessible by lift so if you have mobility issues, make sure you let the hotel know!

Apart from at breakfast, staff were super helpful, especially at the front desk, and I always felt like a valued guest. My flight back to London was at 11pm (checkout at 11am), and they gave me a shower room to use before I went to the airport which was great.

While outside of the hotel’s control, there is unfortunately a massive building site next door which blocks any views and means there is loud drilling, alarms, and shouting early in the morning, so avoid if that’s an issue for you.

Great location, nice staff, interesting decor theme, & enjoyed the meals. Also loved the Korean restaurant across the entrance & the proximity to Chinatown & the subway.

Rooms are a bit small and bath was small as well, but still good for what I needed. Would stay here again.

Very charming hotel among the old shop houses in Singapore. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. Because of our Bonvoy membership and room selection, we had access to the Lounge where you receive complimentary breakfast, daytime snacks and tea and evening snacks and cocktails. It was a lovely service we truly enjoyed.
The hotel location is excellent as you can reach the MRT station quickly, the hawkers stands are close as is Chinatown.
Overall a wonderful stay!

The staff were very kind. We liked the included breakfast. Close to china town and not to long walking distance from river walk and other attractions. I recommend it.

The style of the hotel is beautiful, and the location is excellent across the road from Maxwell hawker center.
And Maxwell MRT. We had a 2 bed room for 2A 1C and it was a spacious beautiful room and bathroom, very strong hair dryer, good amenities. Electric plugs and USB outlets above both beds. Very dark black out blinds, comfortable bed and pillows and aircon. Very easy to sleep and lovely mood lighting during day.
The complimentary evening drinks and canapés were great, ditto arvo tea sandwiches. You sit in a stunning library surrounded by amazing selection of books. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Pool and gym good as well. Breakfast was continental à la carte and passable.

My wife and I stayed here one night. The hotel is a throwback of the era of old school travelling. The decor is wonderfully done with memorabilia of the earlier era.
Service staff were excellent, and I like to highlight Justin from the executive lounge/restaurant area as well as Ariana from the front desk. These two provided me with excellent guidance and service.
If there is a complain that I have, it's the room lighting. I think that it's a tad dim for me. Would have love it if there are ceiling lights in my room.

From the moment I arrived, the *concierge team Mr Randy & Mr Simar* made me feel like a VIP. They anticipated every need, handled requests with zero fuss, and gave recommendations that were always spot on. Their warmth and efficiency set the tone for the whole stay.

*Reception - Ms Arina & Mr Adam* were just as welcoming. Check-in and check-out were seamless, but more importantly, they remembered me and made every interaction feel personal. It’s rare to find that level of genuine hospitality.

The *Members Lounge* was the highlight of my daily routine. *Mr Omar & Ms Putri* looked after breakfast and evening snacks every single day. Coffee was ready before I asked, and they always made time for a friendly chat. Their attention to detail and care made me feel like family, not just a guest.

Maxwell Reserve has my loyalty because of Randy, Simar, Arina, Adam, Omar, and Putri. Thank you for the fabulous service and super VIP treatment that made every stay so comfortable. I can’t wait to be back.
