Pros:

Excellent service and location, and felt like staying in a piece of Singapore history. Loved it being so close to Maxwell hawker centre, and only a 15 min grab to Sentosa as well. Breakfast was delicious and loved that it’s al a carte instead of buffet

Cons:

Because it’s a heritage property, the space in the rooms is a little awkward

Pros:

Breakfast room lovely, loved the books & food great. Staff were great & very accommodating

Cons:

Much to our surprise, we had a windowless room. This was not stated on our booking. It meant the room was very dark & gloomy.
Plus we can only assume that Singapore is in a drought as the water only trickled into the basin

Fantastic stay in a gorgeous colonial hotel
Pros:

Gorgeous colonial hotel. The breakfast was fantastic! The room was a bit small (first price) but enough for a short stay. The location is convenient, walking distance from a subway station and many touristic areas

Cons:

The bathroom sink was open in the bedroom.

Our stay was perfect. Room, facilities, breakfast, happy hour - all excellent. The whole team of the hotel is really good. They are very polite, friendly, kind, helpful, and very professional. Our special thanks to Simar for his unlimited kindness and attention. At last, but not least: Maxwell Reserve Autograph is one of a kind property, beautiful, interesting, and historic. Very well located. Excellent cost-benefit.

Pros:

Loved the colonial theme and design of the premises. Unique and rather posh. The uniformed chairs in the lobby was exceptionally cool

Cons:

The room was exceptionally small. I wasn't expecting much but admittedly, i was rather shocked. (reminded me of New York hotels).That said, the bathroom was well designed and the shower was great albeit tight. Overall, it was tough to work within a space so small. Wish I knew prior to booking. Anyway, the gym was dark and the lights can't seem to be brightened.[i tried several permutations with the controls but nothing changed] Despite having 3 thermostats, they don't seem to allow one to increase the AC. The equipment were clean but sparse and limited. Oh,It was tough lugging the suitcase using stairs from the 3rd floor to the 4th where my room was. Overall, I had a good stay but wish it was better.

Elegant luxury heritage hotel offering top class service
Pros:

We spent two nights in the Juliet Club Suite with Club Lounge Access, which included Complimentary Breakfast, Cocktails & Snacks. We were delighted with the excellent service and the quality of the food and drinks on offer in the Club Lounge. Breakfast was amazing and consisted of a 3-course meal with a wide choice of dishes, hot and cold. Our room was spacious with a comfortable king-size bed. Every detail was taken care of. Despite construction work nearby, the room was very quiet. The staff was attentive and very professional. The hotel is a luxury colonial-style hotel, 3 storeys high, beautifully restored and full of Indian artifacts, medals, uniforms and documents that represent British colonial and Indian heritage.

Cons:

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every respect. Everything was to our satisfaction, and we look forward to staying there again in the future.
