Cons:

Breakfast advertised as part of the price, but not served until 9am (told in the morning). The rooms are contractor worker standard only (not for couples). 9am would be too late for a contractor. As it was for me. Would not go back

Great location - friendly hosts
Pros:

Breakfast was plain and simple - not much choice and no cereals or juice
It was cooked well and there was plenty of it - very friendly hosts and it was an excellent location in the middle of town

Cons:

Steps! It was on the top floor so with a heavy suitcase and asthma it was tough going! Only a small niggle

Cons:

The only thing we could say we didn’t like,(being picky, would be the tiny cups left in room for tea and coffee)! We couldn’t hold them, because the handles were so small.

Lovely comfortable room, bed and pillows really comfortable lovely clean and white bedding and towels, tea coffee and a kettle with biscuits too. Breakfast nice and the hosts were really friendly. The hotel is right in the centre of Howden. Would recommend and we will return.
