Alright for a layover
Pros:

It is close to the airport and easy to get there which is what we needed.

Cons:

We were travelling with our 1 year old child and I have requested a crib, which is mentioned in the description of the place. When we arrived we found out that the hotel does not have any cribs, so the staff improvised and made us a separate bed out of an armchair and extra pillows. After asking for a room on the ground floor during the booking process, because of luggage and baby stroller, we were provided with a room on the 3rd floor and the place does not have an elevator.
We did see a rat on the grounds as well.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Good ambience..neat and clean, well maintained. Good staff. Very cordial and customer centric. Special mention goes to Mr chaminda perreria.

Cons:

Food options are limited. Undercooked dishes. There's no buffet breakfast options available everyday as a standard and no communication on the same to the customers on its availability.
Ala cartee menu is limited especially when it comes to breakfast.. something which can be improved going forward. Quality and quantity of food can improve.

Pros:

The pool and gardens are well maintained.

There are lots of staff who are really helpful and pleasant.

It’s a very difficult time for everyone at the moment because of the war and there were very few guests.

Cons:

The bar only served beer and non alcoholic drinks, despite the facilities on booking.com showing a bar and the picture of a cocktail glass.

This wouldn’t have been a problem if we knew before we booked.

Lovely staff
Pros:

We prolonged our stay here when our flight was delayed again due to the situation in the ME. Such a lovely base with really friendly and helpful staff. We are in the restaurant each night as the food was good and beautifully presented and served.

Perfect airport stay with lovely staff
Pros:

We came here due to a cancelled flight and have stayed here for 5 days. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The pool area is lovely for relaxing and the room is spacious and clean with our own balcony. Breakfast is good. We will be sad to leave tomorrow
