Ok hotel, but quite dirty
Pros:

The hotel was ok, but the rooms were quite dirty. When I arrived the bed was nicely made, but when I moved the blanked there was a lot (10 - 20+) of long/short hairs in the bed so clearly the bedsheets had not been changed. When I complained they said they would fix it, but they did a bad effort in trying. After they had "fixed" it most of the hair were gone, but there was still a lot of dirt and small unidentified red/yellow dirtspots on the sheets. The shower also had soaprests in it so clearly the bathroom floor had not been cleaned either.

After I complained a second time I got a new room which was better, but there was still a few hairs and dirt in the bed and the shower was really nasty, typically like how it becomes after not cleaning it for 1+ month. I am glad I had my own bedsheets with me in case I would end up in this situation.

Both times I complained the staff seemed a little bothered. The first time it was ok, but I barely got any apologies which I thought I should get when my bed is full of hair. The second time they reacted like I was the problem and I felt I had done something wrong by saying that my bed was dirty and I didn't want to sleep in it.

I know it is only a 2 star hotel, but I would at least expect that the bedsheets are changed between each guest.The rest of the hotel was ok, most of the staff did not speak English, but it sort of worked out in a way by having their young daughter translate.

The rest was ok, but ran out of signs to describe.

Pros:

We stayed 2 nights and definitely would have stayed longer if we had more time in Tam Coc. The room was very clean and comfortable, both room and bathroom were very spacious and cute outside sitting area. The room had a hot water kettle and mini fridge. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful they helped us book a night bus to hue and let us store our bags after checkout while we waiting for the bus- even let us shower before heading to the bus which was so nice after such a hot day :) it’s in a good location too- we rented a bike to see the viewpoint but restaurants are all in walking distance, would definitely recommend!
