I enjoyed everything the place offered including the Balinese breakfast!
Pros:

The authenticity of the palace dated back to 1640! The whole atmosphere reflected peace and serenity.

Our stay was a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet just a 5-minute ride from the busy main stretch, giving us the perfect balance of serenity and convenience. The staff were exceptional: always available, genuinely friendly, and incredibly attentive. A special touch was when the owner, Ketut himself, took the time to meet us and introduce himself—it made our stay feel even more personal and welcoming.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the quality and generous portions of the breakfast included with our room. The pool area felt like a lush jungle oasis. Our room was very spacious and beautifully designed, bringing the Balinese culture to life through its layout and decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and were genuinely sad to leave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with authentic Balinese charm and warm hospitality.

Cons:

The bed was a little firmer than we prefer, but that was a small detail in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Exceptional value for money
Pros:

Ketut's Place Cottage was a wonderful experience. From the beautiful grounds to the lovely staff that went out of their way to assist. We had a few spa treatments too which were lovely and value for money.

amazing Balinese style hotel
Pros:

It`s amazing Balinese style hotel. We have 2 balconies and terrace, with view for rice field and garden. Canopy bed, Balinese statues, swimming pool. Exactly the local experience we wanted
Location good, walking 20 min till central Ubud. Enough calm in hotel, but if windows to road side, a little noisy at night.
Breakfast was good, a la carte.
Possible leave your luggage till departure.
6 km from hotel huge Tegalalang rice terrace.
