Great location and realy good vibe
Pros:

Loved the colonial aspects of the property. Really traditional and full of interesting artefacts. Very large room; extremely comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Brilliant location for exploring the historic centre. Literally 2 minutes walk to a long row of restaurants and bars; all serving good food at great prices. Eclectic assortment of people on the square outside ranging from the army with tanks on one day to beggars and prostitutes on another. Don't let that put you off - it's all part of exploring and understanding South America. Loved our stay - so much better than the sterile atmosphere of a Hilton in the suburbs.

Volvería y de hecho ya volvimos luego de nuestro viaje a Galápagos.
Pros:

El lugar esta hermosamente decorado. Muy acogedor y con excelente ubicación. Cerca de panadería, restaurantes, supermercado, centro histórico, la calle de la Ronda. Excelente atención del personal. Tiene incluso una cafetería interna. El desayuno en la terraza súper bueno con vista al panecillo.

Pros:

O hotel é um casarão histórico bem decorado! No entanto, por ser um local antigo, sua rusticidade tira um pouco do conforto. A Silvana, dona do hotel é uma pessoa super atenciosa, dedicada ao máximo a atender todas as nossas necessidades, pedidos como por exemplo, serviu-nos o café mais cedo no dia da nossa excursão. Aliás, excelente café da manhã. Simples mas com produtos de qualidade.

Cons:

Hóspedes não tão educados, conversavam alto tarde da noite nas áreas comuns e ecoava no nosso quarto, dificultando nosso descanso. O chuveiro com aquecedor não funcionou tão bem na primeira noite, mas ao pedirmos uma verificação, foi resolvido.

Cons:

I would really put the rate 10 out of 10 if we would not have 2 situations about payment in hotel.
Staff didn’t give receipts when we paid for hotel or drinks ( we paid in cash) and we had a few people from reception coming to us and ask to pay again 😳
This spoiled overall impression…

Pros:

Location and breakfast were good. Internal architecture attractive.

Cons:

Bathroom and plumbing very dated - shower only ever got lukewarm warm and they were unable to improve it. They loaded 8.5% on the cost of the package for paying by credit card, which was not mentioned on booking.com.

Pros:

Good breakfast. Location great, in the old city, near the plaza grande and restaurants.

Cons:

Hot water took a long time, and so not sure if taps turned the right way. A red dot or sign would help.
