An exceptional stay for fraction of other prices.
Pros:

I loved the modern twist to a hotel experience. Check in and out was easy via their app. Love that we didn’t need to carry a key. The staff is also very helpful and welcoming. The room was cozy and the shower pressure was exceptional.

Location near Gion district, close to everything but quiet area. Clean, good size rooms and kitchen and lounge facilities available if you want them.

Het perfecte hotel als je in Kyoto verblijft.
Pros:

De locatie is perfect, alles wat je nodig hebt is op loopafstand. Dit is een van de weinige locaties in Japan waarbij het personeel goed engels praat. De kamers zijn schoon en netjes.

Pros:

Perfect location and room size.

Cons:

Only point is the one-passage cleaning on 4 or more nights. Understood that to keep the price convenient, but there should be a bigger trash can as in 2/3 days the garbage can be huge.

Great, quiet, comfortable hotel in Kyoto
Pros:

This hotel was so perfect for us. It was a larger room, had comfortable beds and pillows with a great shower. The staff was so nice and helpful. We had a place to store luggage before we could check in. The location is quiet and a 15 minute walk to the Ginza neighborhood.

Pros:

Beautiful place, could pick up towels and whatever you needed any time. No cleaning service but we were there for 3 days so it was all right.

Cons:

There is no 24h reception so to pick up- drop off luggage to be delivered you needed to go to the Kabin kyoto, which was very close. The only issue was when trying to send our luggage from
The previous hotel we could not figure it out, but other than that there was no issue
