On a girls' motorcycle trip to Southern Oregon, we stopped in Mount Shasta and had the best stay at Summit View Inn! Plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance (5-10 mins), and the staff was super friendly. You'll receive a code for self-check in on the day of your arrival. The rooms are cozy, cute, and have lots of places to hang all your gear-- including bicycles, if that's your speed.
It was clean and surprisingly it was a 2 bedroom.
Spacious room, clean, big bathroom, bigger refrigerator, wall shelves, electric shoe dryer, …everything we need. It is close to every natural beauties in Mt Shasta area. We strongly recommend this place to stay. By the way, it would be better to have power outlet and USB charging station next to the dining table.
A water pipe burst just before we got there, so the manager gave us a deluxe room. It was roomy and very clean. Its close to the park forest trails. I would stay here again.
The cabin was nice and comfortable , cozy with comfortable beds.
Great short stay.
The room is very clean and comfortable with nice bathroom. Thank you for hosting me!
we had to change room twice to have one without moldy bathroom and operable window.
The beds were comfortable and the room was relatively clean. However, the property is run-down and in poor repair. Minimal supplies provided in the room, no conditioner or lotion, no hair dryers. Poor lighting.
Cool place for outdoor adventures with room equipped with ski and bike racks and hooks to hang stuff to dry, etc. Clear floors and bed.
Bare bone.
Easy check-in done through prior electronic registration and door code.
Right in Shasta.
property was clean, sheets clean, updated , fast response to requests, staff was helpful and accomadating
Safe
A weak, cheap, attempt at turning an older facility into a hipster hotel. The outside communal areas are a nice touch, but the room, including the poor beds, add-on AC in the window so you can’t close the curtain and use the AC, black mold under the bathroom sink in unit #12, portable electric heater, bad ikea type lighting, one of which was broken, make this place unacceptable. Stay away! I’d love to publish the pic from under the sink. I’m disgusted.
we did a quick overnight in Mt. Shasta
Great place to stay in Shasta. Easy distance to hikes, activities and town. No coffee in the room, and the paint scheme is a little dark but very comfy room otherwise
Convenient stop on our road trip. Simple and clean.
Perfect place to stay
It's got everything we need and nothing that we don't. But needs a hook behind the bathroom door, and a hook right outside the shower door for a towel
Thank you for enough towels. But ice machine would be great.
After I booked I got an email saying the check in process is virtual. that seemed weird to me but didn't think too much of it. then we arrived and the property looked practically abandoned. It was dirty and none of the amenities even seemed accessible since there are no employees on site. the room was dark with cheap trendy lights, some flickered and none of them had lamp shades. it was generally dusty and there were cobwebs in the windows. We left to find a different hotel for the night and did not stay there. (Inn at Mount Shasta is great, we stayed there.) I tried to contact the number given to no avail. do not stay here. it seems like it used to be nice and now whoever owns it is super cheap. I am amazed it hasn't closed.
The property was very clean, well lit and safe. My room was immaculate and the staff was very responsive to text messages.
I stayed here recently and had a very mixed experience. Starting with the positives: parking was easy and convenient, self check-in was smooth and hassle-free, pet-friendly, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable.
However, there were several issues that really took away from the stay. The front window felt unstable—like it might actually come out of the frame, which was unsettling. The bathroom window didn’t have a screen, which isn’t great for ventilation or privacy. Speaking of ventilation, there was none in the bathroom, and the shower leaked badly due to the lack of a proper seal, leaving a mess on the floor every time. The fridge didn’t work at all—my drinks never got cold, and it didn’t seem to be running. Lastly, the AC was extremely loud and made it hard to relax or sleep comfortably.
