Comfy beds and pretty setting but not a lot of practical outdoor seating. Loud fans at night which kept it almost cool enough without AC. Would have liked interaction with management but there was no reception area. The employees who clean and prepare breakfast and who checked us in were very nice but not very informative or problem solvers. Breakfast was OK but 9am start is quite late and even then they were not ready to seat us until 9:20am and then it took a long time to get served. We came to sightsee and did not have time for a long breakfast.

Property is about 10 min walk from center o rooms have no AC only standing fans which aren’t enough during the day but perfect for night time.

It’s a great location, pretty patio, short walk about 10 minutes to paroquia, pay close attention to your booking as they book as rooms- we booked for 3 adults and were given a bedroom with a king bed, there was a sofa but it wasn’t a sofa bed, at first they were going to move me to a 2br unit however they were going to charge me way more so we just asked for sheets for the sofa., Also they said breakfast wasn’t included , I had to insist and show them my Expedia booking. My husband’s eggs were runnier than he’d like so we asked for it to be cooked more, they couldn’t and instead i just had to order and pay for another meal. No hair dryer or coffee stuff.We asked but it didn’t come.I wrote this only so that you know what to expect, overall we enjoyed our stay, would recommend if you don’t mind a little bit of walking.

We had a lovely 5 night stay. Great location, just a few minute walk away from everything. Every morning we had a great breakfast with fruit,coffee and eggs. The girls were so nice to us. Room cleaned every day.

Needed more amenities (hair dryer, extra bar of soap).
Breakfast could start earlier like 8am instead of 9am.
No manager after we checked-in.
Overall, pretty nice place and nice staff.

What are you people thinking? 9.6? Sorry but no way. Let's be real. The room we had was tiny, just big enough for the bed and two night tables. At least we think all of that was there because with a 10 watt bulb in the fixtures it was really hard to tell. You could not open the shades unless you wanted to your stuff to the world. We don't. I will say that the bathroom was spacious but very simple. The hot water on the other hand was hit and miss.

The communal breakfast was OK as the people staying there and sharing the table with us were great.

The breakfast included fresh squeezed Orange juice, fresh fruit and eggs four ways.

Unless you have good Spanish expect not to be understood. Also the sound carries through the walls very strongly at least where our room was located.

Having said that, the people were very sweet but the facilities left us unsatisfied. If you are going to stay, step up to one of their larger rooms and perhaps your experience will be better.

We did love the cat however, and he loved us back.

One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in Mexico along with a daily breakfast of fresh ingredients. Best of all was the friendly and attentive staff. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our accommodations and our time we spent at Casa de La O and we will be back. The breakfast we were served was a very special part of our day and we felt well taken care of. I love the decor and all the art and antiques.

I like that the apartment was very nice and big! We hD a lot of space to spread out. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was well thought out. Overall great place to stay.

Very very friendly and helpful staff. The property is gorgeous and clean. Good water pressure and hot water. Location is good. No parking and that really sucked. Overall, I wouldn’t mind booking here again.

The hostess, who lives on the property, and her staff, keep a clean, calm, stylish environment to relax in before and after a day of walking around town. We found ourselves heading back to Casa de la O in the middle of the day for siestas. It's walkable to everything. Zocolo, 7 minute walk, bus station, 20 minute walk. Really an excellent place.

At first, we were not sure what we were walking in to. With our minimum broken spanish, it was a little hard to communicate. However, staff was very friendly and nice. Next morning we had breakfast with the owner. She is such a nice person. She invited us into her home like family. She shared things to do and see. We had great conversations in the morning. Her freshly brewed coffee was AMAZING! The house is very close to central. 5 min walk up the hill to La Parroquia. Perfect location!

Great place to stay! Friendly and helpful staff and ownership. It’s like an apartment with the benefits of a BNB.

Wonderful casa within a few blocks from the city center!

I was only here for a short work trip, but the owner of the property made me feel very welcome. I would like to return for a longer stay next time and spend more time exploring the area
