Absolutely fantastic, great short break destination

Genuine Somerset hospitality
Pros:

Fantastische Engelse Inn met heel aardig personeel en prima eten! Aanrader!!
Pros:

Allereerst aardig personeel, traditionele Engelse inrichting van de accomodatie. Ruime kamer met prima bed. Daarnaast prima eten zowel diner als ontbijt. Ruime keuze aan drank inclusief alcoholvrije drankjes. Er is een ruime parkeerplaats en de ligging is perfect voor bezoekjes aan Bath, Cheddar etcetera.
Het is niet voor niets dat deze accommodatie druk bezocht wordt door mensen die graag lekker willen eten of gezellig iets willen drinken.

Cons:

Eigenlijk zijn er geen slechte punten te noemen maar als we heel kritisch moeten zijn twee kleine puntjes.
We verbleven er maar liefst acht nachten. Twee keer was de kamer niet gereinigd.
Daarnaast is het rookvrij maar oogluikend werd een keer vapen wel toegestaan (is tenslotte niet echt roken maar vervelend als je astmatisch bent).

Really special
Pros:

The owners went out of their way to make our stay special. The breakfast was delicious and staff super friendly! Colin even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending down the road. Pub was great cosy old pub vibes and room really welcoming. Great value for money and would definitely stay again.

A great place to stay.. or just eat!
Pros:

Sally and the staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay a wonderful time! The rooms we booked were individually designed and comfortable. Both were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was perfect with a good choice on the menu. All cooked to perfection! We stayed at the Inn on the first night for the evening meal and as it was very nicely cooked and presented with a good choice we stayed each evening to eat there! Good value and great food!! We had a lovely 3 day break and we're able to get out and about visiting towns close by. Highly recommended and will visit again soon!

Amazing place with amazing staff
Pros:

Owner was amazing. Nothing was any trouble. My grandson set the fire alarm off in our room and everything was dealt with in a calm and smooth manner. They were completely accommodating. Our room was beautiful…we had the four poster bed plus sofa bed. The bathroom had a lovely roll top bath. I had a wonderful sleep - so comfortable Ate in the restaurant the night we arrived and the pasta was delicious; flavour was really special. Breakfast was also great and certainly enough to keep you going. It was also really nice to see that they had a range of games for people to use and thoughtful enough that the variety covers a range of ages and interests. My grandson and I played a couple of things. He loved choosing. Beautiful place with beautiful people

Petit hôtel de 5 chambres, situé dans une belle campagne, au bord d'un plan d'eau apprécié des pêcheurs.
Chambres petites mais confortables, au calme,
Bon réseau restaurant, bon petit déjeuner (plusieurs formules)

Cons:

peut sembler distant des points d'intérêt comme Bath, situé à une bonne vingtaine de minutes,

Warm inviting and comfortable

Really friendly place to stay and very welcoming to both myself and my dog.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine and the lady looking after the breakfast service was really lovely. The staff in the evening were really friendly and professional too. The room was very comfortable. Location was great.

Cons:

Personally I would have preferred a smaller menu in the evenings with more less options and more seasonal home cooked food.
