Fantastic

The room was nice, spacious, air conditioned with hot water but we had to BEG for towels?????? This was so humiliating. In Makkah a triple cheaper hotel provided towels on arrival as a standard but here we had to ask for the towels multiple times.

I booked Areen on Prince Sultan Road. Taxi driver dropped us on Prince bin Salam Rd. We were given a one bed for three persons. Management was a fraud.

No hot water. No towels and the bathroom was not clean

Pros;

This property is a hidden gem for practical travelers. The rooms resemble hotel apartments, featuring very comfortable beds and linens, a spacious layout with a kitchen, and a small dining table. It's a great option for those performing Umrah for 1-2 days. You can use Grab to get to Mecca for about 250 SAR XL car. The staff are helpful and don't expect tips.

The highlight of this property is the breakfast, which offers typical Saudi dishes. Additionally, there are various restaurants nearby, including Hardees, KFC, and local spots like a crusted fried chicken place and a juice vendor.

The staff are available 24/7, so even if you check in late, like at 3 AM, they will accommodate you.

Cons:
Remember to ask for a towel when you check in. The bathroom has an awkwardly designed shower. Cleanliness is acceptable but not outstanding.

I travelled to Jeddah for the Formula 1 Grand Prix and this property was the closest to the track I was able to find at a price that wasn't "major event" pricing.
I am very happy with my decision to stay here.
There are lots of dining options in the area, the hotel is on a major street in Jeddah so it's very easy to find and get back and forth from.
The staff was very nice and if I asked for an extra towel, they were happy to provide one.
The room was a lot bigger than I expected and quite comfortable. The AC worked great, especially for the hot desert summers.
The only "bad" thing I can think of with the property is that the bathroom was very small compared to how big the rest of the room was and the shower was wide open and didn't seem to have a setting other than "very cold." However, I didn't bring this up with the hotel staff so it could easily have been my fault.

Het was prima. Service was goed, er was genoeg Engels sprekend personeel die mij goed hielp als ik vragen had. Dat was fijn en niet vanzelfsprekend. Ik vond de kamer een beetje achterstalling. De douchekop was niet fijn, daar spoot water van boven uit wat heel naar douchen was. Er zaten best wel wat dingen los en of waren kapot. Samengevat, achterstallig. Daardoor oogt het gauw ook niet schoon. Het bed was heerlijk slapen. Airco kon niet echt gemiddeld aanstaan, het was of heel koud of heel warm. Ik heb lekker kunnen zwemmen in t zwembad. Het was heel rustig, vriendelijk personeel daar ben ik echt dankbaar voor. En volgens mij zijn ze ook bezig met renoveren, dus worden de kamers vernieuwd en kunnen die ongemakken misschien opgelost worden.

Manager was not attentive. Took long and was disinterested. Wifi didn’t work at all. One towel for two adults. One coffee cup as well. Won’t recommend this facility.

This is a great little hotel, with plenty of restaurants nearby. A little dated and a few small issues inside the room that need fixing but for value, it meets what it says. It is within 3km of the F1 race circuit, a nice walk as taxi's are hard to find on a race weekend.

Hotel unaware of my reservation. Found me another room but then asked me to check out early. Hotel a bit rundown but clean and not bad for money.

The Sudanese reception guy is not qualified , he dose not know to check the booking on computer , I stay 20 min waiting at reception while I book and paid for the booking , it’s the 1st and last time to book this hotel
