Not value for money. Clean and OK but not worth cost.
Pros:

Very central but in local part of City so not so good for tourists.

Cons:

Poor service. Had to ask for everything eg shower gel, towels. Restaurant very poor service - slow - had to ask for everything every time at breakfast and dinner - it was as if it was the first time they had served - e.g. can we have menu, can we have cutlery, can we have butter - often forgot orders. Also right next to mosque and we’re woken up every morning at 05:05 due to chanting. We wondering what the earbuds in the room were for!!!!!

Cons:

The reservation stated that the room had a city view, but there was no view at all — just a wall right in front of the window.

When I entered the room, one of the bathroom towels was dirty and I had to request a replacement. The toilet paper had already been used, with only a very small amount left, and there was no spare roll provided.

Out of the four pillows on the bed, only one had a proper pillowcase.

Considering the price paid, this is honestly one of the worst value-for-money rooms I can remember.

5 Star staff - ideal as transit hotel for airport or seaplane port
Pros:

Collection from the Airport and transfer to hotel was flawless.

Hotel restaurant was superb, recommend dinner and lunch there. The breakfast was included and was very good as well

Room was not the largest but absolutely fine for one night.

Staff were exceptionally helpful giving tips for local visits and general information about the area

Cons:

Better soundproofing. Hotel is situated between two mosques so expect an early morning wake up with the call to prayers from the two mosques

A convenient hotel for a stopover with excellent staff.
Pros:

Staff. Super helpful. Friendly and welcoming. Central location. Good restaurant.

Cons:

Awoken very early by the mosque call to prayers. Our fault as the hotel information mentioned its very close proximity to the mosque, we just hadn’t realised the early call would be just after 4am. Once awake it was very interesting.

Pros:

Check in, transfers, general standard of room, room upgrade appreciated, room climate control, staff attitude

Cons:

Restaurant dinner experience very poor: even allowing for the impact of Ramadan, the waiting time for food service was ridiculously excessive; one of my main dishes arrived completely cold (I chose not to send it back because that would have just led to further delay). I question whether the kitchen has adequate capacity/staffing to handle peak demand. Room bathroom suffered from persistent smell issue (likely drain related).

I’d recommend it for a quick transfer.
Pros:

The staff is excellent! I’d recommend Thai hotel simply because of these young men that made my 1-night stay extremely comfortable.

Cons:

My level 4 room had a view of buildings, not of the water beyond, which I could see from the breakfast room. It should not be advertised as sea view. Also, had trouble adjusting the air conditioner.

Super Hotel für 1-2 Nächte auf der Hauptinsel

Das Hotel ist mit dem Taxi nur 5 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Es liegt in einer kleinen Seitengasse auf der Ostseite der Insel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 8. Stock mit Blick auf das Meer und den Flughafen sowie Sonnenaufgang. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Frühstück gibt es im Restaurant im 10. Stock. Im 11. Stock ist eine offene Terrasse mit traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Wir waren dort Abendessen (gegen Aufpreis), das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Personal im ganzen Hotel ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett.

Close to airport

Cons:

Bathroom door was on a spring latch and slammed on us more than once, causing injury. Bathroom also had no proper ventilation.

Worst part was an experience with the staff. One staff member downstairs was rude and a pain to deal with (glasses, buzzed haircut, short, inept). He made it clear that as an Indian he didn’t like Maldives, but had to work there. Not sure what prompted this statement, but we neither asked nor found it appropriate as tourists to the beautiful country of Maldives. Maldivians are great people and it’s sad that hospitality workers who dislike Maldives are being imported over locals who take pride in their country and provide stellar customer service to tourists. Really bad look for the Samann brand. Other staff were pleasant and professional.

Images of the property are not reflective of reality.

Breakfast and à la carte was not up to standard.

Shuttle service drivers almost made us miss our boat to our final destination.

Taken altogether, I would not recommend booking here.
