I borrowed three umbrellas from the front desk on the morning of September 3rd because it was drizzling. I returned them to the front desk that afternoon. Both borrowing and returning required providing and verifying my room number; upon returning them, I specifically asked the staff member if the three umbrellas had been cleared from my account, and he confirmed that they had. However, when I checked out, the guest folio showed a charge of $45 for the three umbrellas. I questioned the staff member at checkout, but he gave a vague, non-committal response, was unable to explain the situation, and said he would have to ask the manager. Since I was in a rush to catch a train, I couldn't wait. I later called to follow up, and they promised a refund, yet I have still been charged $45 for the three umbrellas that I had borrowed and returned.

Great weekend in Providence.
Pros:

Very good breakfast selections, beautiful and clean rooms and bathrooms with very comfortable beds and pillows.
Convenient valet. Great location for walking to shopping and restaurants. Free local shuttle available.

Convenient location but noisy and poor breakfast.
Pros:

It’s a convenient central location and suites were a good size.

Cons:

Noisy - it is surrounded on all 4 sides by major roads with frequent sirens, noisy traffic and base beats from the local bars.
Breakfast was very poor given the price of the rooms.
Sofa in the room had broken springs and was uncomfortable to sit on.

Lovely accommodations- very friendly staff, great location, walkable to many spots, great free breakfast, very clean and comfy- would stay again and recommend !

Great location . Easy walk to downtown attractions and to Brown or RISD. Staff was attentive. Very good breakfast. Close to the train station and the river.

Cons:

Parking is costly and only valet. But not out of line with most downturn hotels. The valet service was good

Ganz gut!
Pros:

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war sehr gut. Es war sauber. Das Hotel liegt zentral. Das Frühstück ist auch okay. Alles in allem ein ganz angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Das Bad hatte kein Fenster und nur einen Duschvorhang. Es war zudem nicht gut beleuchtet.
