Great location and friendly staff
Pros:

Location was great. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Our room smelled like wet dog when we arrived. We went and bought some room spray and it helped some but otherwise a nice room.

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was nice.
Pros:

Hampton Inn is a known brand. I knew what to expect when I reserved a room.

Cons:

The room was a little shabby. It definitely needed attention. The refrigerator was on its leg. There was a plumbing issue that wasn’t resolved before I checked out.

Overall great stay.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They had a number you can text if you need anything which was very helpful especially with having littles. I had an issue with our room ac and texted the number they got back right away and switched my room for me, they even came up to the room I was in an gave me my new key cards.

Cons:

The pool was way smaller than what the picture looked like on the website. The hallways were stuffy and warm like the air wasn’t circulating properly and the room where the ice machine was very hot like a sauna.

I've stayed at plenty of Hampton Inn's around the country. This Sedalia location is by far the worst

I've stayed at plenty of Hampton Inn's around the country. This Sedalia location is by far the worst. The staff for starters are VERY unprofessional. The maintenance/cleaning staff looked to have been part time carnival workers. The front desk staff not much better. They lacked in customer service skills at check-in and check-out. The large girl at checkout never spoke a word other than "would you like a receipt".....
The bedding is generally why we stay at Hampton Inn. Wow.....was this a disappointment. Poor mattress and pillows. Had I known all of this about the Sedalia location....I'd saved the $270 and stayed in my son's college dorm.....

Pros:

Staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was good. The coffee was A+. The room was very nice. I was disappointed with no microwave in room. But they do have one to share in lobby . The towels....well I felt like I was drying off with sand paper. I think this could be improved easily.

No hot tub.
