Pros:

Отель находится в самом центре города, удобно и пешком и на транспорте

Cons:

Вокруг стройка (не влияет, но визуально портит). Отель не соответствует классу бренда Hilton Canopy - скорее это городская трёшка.. не рекомендую.

Very disappointed with a 5 star property which didn’t even meet the standard of providing the basic amenities

The location is good and the manager Yu and Stella did help to sort out the issues when things were getting bad.

Cons:

We checked in the hotel on 3 occasions within a 10 days period. I booked a room for 4 adults but every check in the room only had amenities for 2 pax, eg only 2 toothbrushes, 2 towels , 2 slippers etc and each time I have to asked and explained to the reception at length. The hotel should provide these basic facilities as we paid for 4 pax.
The room was extremely hot and stuffy (26.5 degrees) We were unable to adjust the temperature as I believe the central heating system was not functioning well. They gave us 2 fans, we opened the windows and yet we woke up in sweat every night. And this was winter in Chengdu. We didn’t sleep well.

Disappointing, more is expected from Hilton

Overall a really great stay in a central location, so comfortable and stylish, great breakfasts.
Pros:

Everything was clean, great attention to detail, the rooms and view were wonderful and I want to give a big mention to the lovely housekeeping staff who kept our room clean and comfortable. Also, AMAZING breakfasts. I have no idea how people could review saying the breakfasts were average. I travel a lot and this buffet breakfast was just lovely.

Cons:

There were a couple of things that did come up- previous reviews mention hot rooms and no ACs, this was definitely an issue for us. The rooms were so stuffy and hot at night! The staff were great and gave us a fan to use which helped, but I think the hotel should just turn down the central heating by a degree or two.

Secondly, there was a man our floor smoking in the hallways and common areas- even going so far to leave cigarette butts on the ground! There are no smoking signs literally everywhere. When we brought this up to staff they already knew about it, and honestly I’m a little shocked they didn’t remove him from the hotel as this happened about 3-4 times. They ended up moving us to another floor which was very kind of them, as we had a toddler with us and didn’t want her breathing in smoke.
