Very comfortable place to be when the weather was very unpleasant
Pros:

No excellent transformation of a historic building to a well appointed comfortable hotel

Cons:

No lift. Met a fellow guest struggling with heavy suitcases on the stairs

Cons:

Ventilation from kitchen blowing directly on customers when entering from car park was terrible. All else was fine during our stay.

Pros:

It was a cozy place in a handy location.

Cons:

Not enough light in our room to read our books and there was not a second seat so one of us had to sit on the bed.

Disappointing. Admittedly is was a Sunday, so the city area was dead. Not likely to return.
Pros:

Breakfast not available. Location was not to our liking, so we drove to Bethlehem to dine. It is not the hotels fault, but the down town area is not inspirational or inviting. We did not appreciate the homeless looking guy lying barefoot outside the front door on check out morning.

Cons:

The decor. Very gloomy, arty, gothic feel. Not to our liking. and we paid more money here than at The Clements in Cambridge on the way to Clarence. Clements offered a light and bright decor and a free breakfast which inspired us to return there on our way home after our visit to Clarence.

Stunning property, well located, would recommend
Pros:

Stunning original historic building. Previously the old post office. Lovely outside sitting area where we had drinks on arrival. Parking on site, and a short walk to multiple places to eat.

Accomodation nice but interrupted sleep before a big day ahead was irksome
Pros:

Did not have breakfast

Cons:

Very noisy at 3am when empty bottles were collected - truck located right below my bedroom. Then again at 4am when the rubbish collection truck arrived and made almost as much noise. Red lights flashing, beeping as backing etc

Hotel Clarence Boutique
Pros:

Good location, short walk to the centre of town. Hotel did an excellent dinner.
Rooms were very comfortable and clean.
All hotel staff were very helpful and very pleasant.

Nothing not to like
