Cons:

Hotel currently under construction, not notified of this ahead of stay, so continuous loud noise throughout our stay including early hours of the morning. Didn’t receive the room we booked as was told it had to be given away. Random knocks on doors in the middle of the night from maintenance/house keeping although we never called them. Very disappointing stay, would not recommend.

The location was great. The hotel was being renovated so it wasn’t the best looking but it was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Our stay was good but we wanted to stay an extra night and had to go to another hotel for the extra night in the city. The Manhattan was going to charge double the rate we had paid for the first 3 nights to stay one extra night. The extra night was in a Monday so I would have thought the weekend would cost more. The staff wasn’t very helpful with the situation and we were told we would probably just need to go somewhere else.

DO NOT BOOK - missold by booking.com. Undergoing major refurb not mentioned!
Pros:

The location. JUST THE LOCATION. Everything else was awful.

Cons:

Reception had 2 people on .. no hurry.
We had a 7 hour flight so were keen to check in. Once we were given a room went up to 11th floor And the room was awful.
Unclean,
bathroom disgusting
sockets off the walls
Bathroom door wouldn’t close

We immediately asked if we could move and were told no.
I showed photos of the bathroom to which he then said I’ll send someone up to clean. Guy came to clean even he was disgusted and said the room should not have been let out in that state. Remember this is supposed to be 4 ⭐️ accommodation????
No where near.

We had no option but to spend our first night in this room.

Next day I headed to reception again to ask to move. I was told No. I then again showed the photos and she again was embarrassed went to the manager and agreed we should be moved but it would not be till later that day.

They wanted me to go back up and pack 4 cases to bring down to the lobby. I explained we had reservations and it was not convenient (9am) she did not seem happy. I agreed to come back at 11am and move the bags.

We then returned again at 3.30pm and moved to a slightly better room on 12th floor. Not one of the refurbished rooms that you advertise on booking.com. But at least clean.

This however took up a portion of our day complaining, repacking and moving. It was really inconvenient going back and forth .

At no point did it say on booking.com that this hotel was undergoing major refurbishment!!!

This should not be on your list of hotels to book and I would consider it unfit and certainly not 4star. I’m sure once this hotel has undergone a FULL refurbishment it will be fine and it is ideal location. But as for our booking I feel we were totally mis sold this hotel. It was in no way as described. I have always trusted booking,con for my stays abroad but this will make me look elsewhere as I’m not sure your descriptions are accurate.

Cons:

It was very old and the staff were hostile. I wasn’t given the room I booked and the noise in the room from the heater was unbearable

Great location, nice room, quiet, very friendly and helpful staff. Especially housekeeping and Mohammed at front desk!
Pros:

Location is great. Had a newer room that was very comfortable. Housekeeping staff was great!

Cons:

Updated room was great but furniture looks good but I don’t think it will hold up to a lot of hotel traffic

Camera molto sporca, lavello tappato per tutto il soggiorno,nonostante abbia più volte richiesto assistenza . Ho pagato 300 dollari in più per una camera migliore ,ma me ne hanno dato una peggiore e con vista cortile . Mai più questo hotel

Location is ok but bedding is too old and not so comfortable as well there is no breakfast its only grab and go one pastry and drink so paying for breakfast is waste of money .NO pools in house as well as gym

1. The breakfast:
- There no eating room, we have to stay in a line to collect our breakfast and eat it in the few spaces in the lobby or in our bedroom
- The quality and quantity of the meal: we must chose 3 items (1 drink, 1 pastry and 1 pice of fruit).
For a four stars hotel this is not acceptable.

2. The bedrooms:
- Don't match with the photos.
- Very old and in bad conditions
- without enough lightning

3. The staff:
- they forgot twice (during a stay of 6 nights) to clean the room. Very unpolite when were approached
- when we arrived the recepcionist was very rude

Room was very tired - crack in the bath and a half painted wall. Have stayed here before 10 years ago and it could do with updating now!

Très bien placé mais manque de propreté avec cependant un personnel parfait.
Pros:

L’accueil.

Cons:

L’état de la chambre. Le plafond est même tombé dans la salle de bain. La propreté, avec les taches de moisissures dans la baignoire. Catastrophique l’étage 5 pour aller à la salle de sport.
