Would use this hotel again if we’re in the area, nice independent run and used by the local community.
Pros:

Staff were brilliant. We ate in the bar both evenings, first evening from the snack menu, we both had the turkey stuffing and cranberry baguette but the cranberry was missing, staff did bring some when asked. The second night we ate from the restaurant menu, food was very plentiful and very enjoyable, again bar and waiting staff couldn’t be more helpful and very friendly

Cons:

Our room could do with a little tlc, the extractor in the bathroom was very noisy, but it was clean

Rooms a bit tired, very dusty wallpaper, air conditioning unit intermittently gurgling throughout the night even though it was turned off

Pros:

Enjoyed my meal in the restaurant, service was good and the food lovely. All staff were kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Rooms were clean and warm. The bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others

A good 3 night stay with all the basics you need
Pros:

Good size and comfortable room, bed was huge ! Good WiFi, Bathroom good . Breakfast was nice , reception and all staff helpful and friendly. Rooms were quiet. Good to have large car park (free) nice promo for residents , pint of beer plus meal ( photo) for £15.

Cons:

Being picky the bathroom had some mold around bath , room would ideally have had a fridge

Cons:

The raspberries were mouldy every single day we stayed 4 nights would like more soft fruit and baby/ child options for food. Chips need cooking longer too nobody likes a soggy under cooked chip. Also a mini fridge in family rooms to store breastmilk and other temperature sensitive items would be a great thing!
