Beds were basic
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and we ate one evening on the restaurant and that was very good value.
The only problem was no milk in room for tea but soon sorted.

Lots of dust on top of cupboards
The staff there are so helpful and friendly. I have stayed here on a few occasions and keep returning. The location is ideal as it's a short walk from the town centre and close to the railway station. It's a popular wedding venue and there are always events taking place here. Even when there are events going on, the rooms are really quiet. The breakfasts are really good with a variety of choices. I also love the coffee at breakfast because it's nice and strong.
Because it is so popular the car park can get very full in the evenings.It just means that you might have to park the car further away from the hotel at certain times of the day.

When I got to the room the TV didn't work so reported it to reception they said someone would be up to get it sorted.
Nobody came to the room to get the TV working. Disappointed!
Food not up to previous standards?
The room was spacious and the bed very comfy!
We stayed for a work event she had a 3 course carvery meal which was beautiful, the bar is very well priced!
£5 for a double vodka which is brilliant for a hotel!
We then went on the 80’s night which again was fab.
Would definitely stay again
Not so much didn’t like but there was no fridge in the room.
Breakfast was also mediocre
