It was a convenient location, close to the railway station. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
There isn’t really much around. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, but there just isn’t really much in the area.
The property is a little dated.
Breakfast was good, help yourself and the staff were great. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good value. Excellent portions and nice food.
Rooms were a good size with all the necessities.
The rooms are quite dirty and need dusting and hoovering. You could see smears on the mirror and dust on all the units.

Ideal base location for exploring Wales
Restaurant closed rediculously early on Sunday, but that seemed the standard for Port Talbot.
I enjoyed the clean and comfy room. I tried the TV but was unable to operate it correctly. Not the hotels fault and I had no withdrawal symptoms as I don't have a TV at home. Lol. I had a comfy seat to sit at the table to do some colouring. The heater kept the room just slightly as warm as I prefer. There was an electric kettle to make complimentary hot beverages. Plenty of necessary ingredients were supplied. The bathroom was clean, with fresh towels. The shower was great and easily changed the heat and the force of water easily by movement of the shower control.
It's a safety issue mainly and due to some beautiful irredessant floor tiles which, when splash water happened, became like an ice rink for me and very slippery.

No veggie sausage etc for breakfast and got woken up at 6am by the delivery man brining barrels.
Location is hard to find on foot. Back is the front kinda.
