Would use this hotel again if we’re in the area, nice independent run and used by the local community.
Pros:

Staff were brilliant. We ate in the bar both evenings, first evening from the snack menu, we both had the turkey stuffing and cranberry baguette but the cranberry was missing, staff did bring some when asked. The second night we ate from the restaurant menu, food was very plentiful and very enjoyable, again bar and waiting staff couldn’t be more helpful and very friendly

Cons:

Our room could do with a little tlc, the extractor in the bathroom was very noisy, but it was clean

Pros:

Enjoyed my meal in the restaurant, service was good and the food lovely. All staff were kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Rooms were clean and warm. The bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others
