From the moment I stepped into the hotel the gentleman at the front desk could not have been more accommodating. The roo

I love the 1960s feel of the hotel, the comfortable bed, the air-conditioning, the view and the beautiful staff at the front desk
. And the breakfast staff.

Cons:

The waiter that I had for dinner I’m a very easy-going, friendly woman. He was very dismissive didn’t come and ask. Do I want another drink? He put down my food no salt and pepper no water. I would’ve liked to have had desert I just would’ve liked to have felt welcome because everywhere in Italy I have he’s the only one I have come across on my three-year travels that I could’ve done without meeting. It was disappointing because everything else was so fabulous about the Hotel, but he was just very unpleasant like I was dirt on his shoe. ☹️

Pros:

Albergo bellissimosul mare nello splendido scenario del borgo di Chianalea. Stanza molto curata in ogni particolare ,arredata con mobili antichi e dotata di tutti i comfort. Si respira un'aria di nobile antichità. Piccoli balconi in più punti della stanza garantivano il godimento di uno straordinario panorama da diverse angolazioni, sul mare come sul borgo sottostante dei pescatori intenti alla cura delle proprie reti. Buona la colazione.

Pros:

Personalen var väldigt trevlig! Däremot hade det underlättat om de i receptionen kunde engelska.

Cons:

Hela hotellet hade behövt en rejäl uppfräschning. Rummen var fina, men oerhört lyhörda på natten.
Frukosten var under all kritik tyvärr. Osten och skinkan stod inte på kylplattor som det borde göra, kan snabbt bli dåligt i värmen. Även annat bröd, exempelvis surdegsbröd eller annat färskt bröd hade lyft frukosten rejält.

No lift, no tea or coffee making facilties, bathroom door was jamed and not fixed until our final day, being charged for a bottle of water in the room. No glasses on plastic cups
