Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel. Sollte ich nach Basel zurückkehren, steht es auf Platz 1.
Pros:

Die Qualität der zum Frühstück gereichten Speisen war hervorragend, das Angebot hätte evtl. noch etwas vielfältiger sein können. Mein Zimmer war geräumig, das Bett superbequem. Das gesamte Hotelteam war ausnehmend freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hat.

Very comfortable and authentic hotel in Basel centre
Pros:

Very nice hotel in centre of Basel, close to public transportation and we enjoyed taking the tram to the conference site (10 min). Good restaurant too and they offer private parking close by.

Pros:

The hotel is situated in the center of Basel, in a great area with many cafes and restaurants easily accessible within walking distance. The attic room in the SET Hotel was very spacious, well designed, and even provided a small electric stove and kitchen.

Aufenthalt bei Ihnen hat mir sehr gefallen, immer wieder gern!

Sehr netter Empfang von der Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption bei der Ankunft (besonderes Lob!!!). Sehr aufmerksames Personal beim Buffet/Frühstück. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer war gut, es war sauber. Die Lage war hervorragend - relativ ruhig aber doch super zentral!

Cons:

Man kann über eingeschränkte Menge Geschirr meckern: z.B. kein Wasserkocher (Kaffeemaschine ersetzt den nicht voll) oder kein Topf/keine Pfanne bei vorhandenem E-Herd, dessen Funktion für mich in dem Fall rätselhaft war. Nicht, dass ich das brauchte oder mich irgendwie eingeschränkt fühlte, war aber irgendwie komisch. Die Zufahrt in die Tiefgarage war nicht ganz einfach zu finden, trotz sehr ausführlicher Erklärung - vielleicht war die lange Anreise schuld. Dei Parkplätze sind eng, was angeblich ganz normal für Basel ist. Die Rezeption und das Restaurant sind im anderen Hotel(Teil) auf der anderen Straßenseite - war für mich gar kein Problem, man muss es bloß bei später Anreise etc. beachten.
