Fully embraced Pride Month to the point of uncomfortable experience. Not Norwegian typical culture of subtle communication. Hotel was old and tired. Little space. No control of air conditioning.
We have been in Norway for over a month. Oslo was our last stop. We stayed here two nights. The room/staff were comparable to many hotels in Norway. But this was by far the best buffet breakfast. Lots of options, well laid out. Plenty of space. Custom omelettes and coffees.

Jeg savnede flere bøjler til at hænge mit tøj på og en ekstra skuffe i et opbevaringsmøbel. Vi var 2 personer , som boede i værelset i 5 dage og ville gerne pakke ud, men savnede mere opbevaringsmulighed og flere bøjler, tak!
Zimmer schön eingerichtet, Dusche funktioniert sehr gut, gute Pflegeprodukte, tolles Frühstück

Location and breakfast selection
Room good size, but so much wasted space with useless decoration, whilst you have nowhere to put up your suitcase. The electrical installations are terrible. If I want to make a coffee whilst my husband is still asleep, I must turn on full lights in the room so the coffee machine gets electricity. How crazy!
The temperature regulator has lost any signage on it , it's hanging from the wall. We needed to get someone downstairs to change the setting- 'the lettering has rubbed off' was the excuse...
No English langugae TV channel. CNN is the only one listed, but it didn't work. Man at reception said ' oh yes, we are changing the channel, but I haven't had time yet to load it into the system'. We were here for 5 days, it never happened.
At breakfast, there is 1 coffee machine (except for drip coffee). Every morning a long queue builds up at this one machine...
Lighting in b'fast room is not enough. It's a black coloured room!! (not a welcoming b'fast room). There are portable table lamps on most tables, but half the time, they are out of battery.
I personally also found the background music too loud. If one is not a fan of the particular music being played, it is too loud.
In the room, the window opens quite some way to air the room, but there is no safeguard on the outside. This feels very dangerous

Very late check-in, and no flexibility.
The location and most aspects of this hotel in central Oslo are excellent. We found the staff always helpful and friendly, and the breakfast spread is extensive. However, a couple of issues were disappointing for us. The room lighting is abysmal; there is only one bright light, over he entry door where it is little use, and no fixed lighting at all in the area where there is a desk, so it is impossible to read or write. Our room was on the second floor right over the main entry and was very noisy, with a canopy outside our window acting as a sound shell for every conversation held by smokers late into the night. It was also noisy from the event music going on. Finally, a minor issue, but a hotel of this standard should not miss a room service, as happened to us, so we had to ask for fresh towels at the desk.

Room is too small. Bathroom is small.
The receptionist changed our room without any fuss as they had not given us a room with walk-in shower as agreed.
The roof top bar was very nice with good service.
The breakfast is a real "bun fight". It is extremely busy and difficult to get around as so many people are moving at the same time. The tables are very close together with low hanging lighting that is either in the wrong place or you hit your head on it every time you have to get up. The hot food counter serves very cold fried eggs and nothing there is very "hot".
The cold selection was plentiful and varied.
The towels in the bedroom were disgraceful for such a large hotel. Our towels must have been used dozens of times and were too small, thread bare and ragged; no flannels, no drinking water supplied, only two coffee pods per day; half a dozen tissues in the tissue box. Very basic for this class of hotel.
The lighting was dreadful. As always no lighting where you need it. The hair dryer was another of the "hold the button in" variety which any person, who dries their hair regularly, will tell you are cheap and nasty to use. This one had such a tightly coiled wire that it was impossible to do the left hand side of my head without having to move closer to the plug socket (which was also in an place where it was impossible to see in the mirror).
Very noisy on the 5th floor. Take earplugs if you like the window open!
W centrum miasta, bardzo smaczne śniadania
Jest zalazko i deska dla prasowania.
Wyposażenie pokoju. Jak przyjeżdża jedna osoba,to nadaje samy mały pokój, chociaż bo płaciłam jak za pokój dla dwojga. Chali jeszcze kredytową kartę dla ubezpieczenia, chociaż nie jest wymagany depozyt.
