Pros:

Las instalaciones, ubicacion, personal, restaurante, limpieza y mantenimiento son excepcionales.
Las habitaciones son muy grandes y bien equipadas. Nos hicieron upgrade a una habitación mejor y con una terraza con vistas al mar maravillosa.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, heel lekker eten. Goed advies en ondersteuning om activiteiten te organiseren. Zalige locatie met een gigantisch strand dat zo goed als verlaten is.

Superb stay at a beautiful beach with everything you need
Pros:

Proactive and superbly friendly staff, we got a free room upgrade. Spa was incredible, good breakfast variety and general great food taste. Beautiful beach, pristine facility (not too big), free yoga morning sessions.

Cons:

Given pool is next to beach, you'll find it somewhat murky at times. Lots of visible efforts to keep it clean though.
Also, room privacy could slgithly be improved, as the rooms have big windows facing the facility center but only one heavy set of curtains you need to close to shut views out (a second set of light curtains could help that without losing sunlight)

A beautiful, peaceful retreat on an empty beach, with staff who make you feel genuinely looked after.
Pros:

The location above all — a long, quiet stretch of beach with no other hotels around, and a real sense of being away from everything. The staff were excellent: warm, attentive and always happy to help. The room was comfortable and spotless, the pool lovely, and the whole place is peaceful and unhurried. Two nights felt too short.

Cons:

Only one thing: the restaurant prices are quoted in US dollars and work out a little higher than at comparable places nearby. The food itself is good, but it is worth knowing before you arrive.

One of my favourite hotels
Pros:

An oasis of calm on an empty beach. Love this hotel, great pool, great food and excellent staff. Nice big rooms, big bathrooms and great spa.

Das beste Hotel unserer Reise
Pros:

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal - besonders zu unseren Kindern. Wunderschöner und einsamer Strand (Nebensaison), unglaubliches Meer. Sehr hohe Wellen (nicht zum Baden geeignet), wunderschönes Feeling. Auf alle Wünsche wurde eingegangen, immer mit Lächeln. Super Frühstück, tolles Essen. Schöner Pool, tolle Massagen, Upgrade für das Zimmer im oberen Stock, sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir waren 6 Nächte hier - mit 2 kleinen Kindern - und haben uns keine Sekunde gelangweilt. Einfach nur die Ruhe und das besondere Feeling rundum genossen.

Tipp: unbedingt in der Nebensaison kommen. 2 tolle Restaurants direkt gegenüber, aber auch das hoteleigene Restaurant war spitze. Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt, vor allem auch dank des tollen Personals im Restaurant. Vielen Dank für alles!

A wonderful respite after the cultural triangle and Yala. Sit back, relax and simply enjoy the sea and sun.
Pros:

Stunning beachfront location with spacious rooms overlooking the gorgeous pool and ocean. The staff were excellent and the food outstanding. We loved the breakfast each morning and the fresh seafood at dinner was a treat.

Highly recommend a stay at this welcoming hotel which is well deserving of the review scores. Stylish design, well furni
Pros:

A gem of a hotel off the beaten track . It’s not huge and therefore facilities are minimal in terms of the size of pool etc. but it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We stayed off season and so it was a little quiet but we had no problem with securing sun beds.
We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was very well finished and furnished and spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen too. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the very helpful staff. We asked for a cafetière which was delivered to us shortly after. Beach towels provided and with clean ones to help yourself to on trust whenever needed.
Breakfast is delicious with toast / pastries and fruit provided as standard and then a menu to choose a main dish from with a good range of options. We found this worked much better than a buffet.

Cons:

The restaurant is a little on the pricier side. There a handful of other restaurants nearby but these aren’t cheap either with a captive audience. These too were all very quiet.

Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés, avec une chambre vue sur mer.
L’une des plus belles vues d’hôtel dans lequel nous ayons séjourné.
Le restaurant est très bon également !

Cons:

Le seul bémol : nous avons profité du service de laverie mais un de nos vêtements a déteint sur tous les autres, et les taches présentes sur certains vêtements ne sont pas partis, résultats 2 hauts et 4 paires de chaussettes foutus, tout ça pour un prix de 10$.
Mais ça n’enlève pas de point sur la note.

Pros:

We spent three night at this wonderful accomodation (two adults, two children). The accomodation is located at a beautiful, wide and open beach. The outdoor area is very beautifully designed with a large pool and many beach chairs for relaxing.
The rooms are very clean and large. They are built very solidly and are very good isolated. Even on a hot day you need the air conditioning very shortly to cool down the room and it contains the cold for a long time.
The restaurant (including breakfast) was very good and there are some pretty good alternatives for eating and drinking in the area around the accomodation.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Massages depuis longtemps - le restaurant tres agreable et tres bon.

Een droombestemming
Pros:

Lankavatara is het paradijs op aarde. Prachtig hotel, heerlijk eten (beste ontbijt à la carte dat we gehad hebben in Sri Lanka - lunch en diner ook heel lekker en verzorgd), mooi groot zwembad, een uitzicht om bij weg te dromen en de allerliefste mensen. Alles klopt hier, over elk detail is nagedacht. Het strand is verlaten en uitgestrekt en leent zich goed voor lange wandelingen. Als je hier niet tot rust komt lukt het nergens.

Cons:

Ik kan echt niks bedenken.

Séjour plus que parfait avec un personnel parfait !
