Pros:

The room was very smelly and dirty and I couldn't change my room. The beds where broken too. Was not happy with my stay ☹

This hotel is located in a very convenient place for the price we paid. The staff are absolutely lovely and helpful. Even though is a very old building with old furniture, is still at a very competitive price for its location… if you are literally looking for a place just to rest and have a shower. Will definitely consider it again when staying in Bournemouth!!!

Pros:

More of a guest house than hotel. Not for families or couples. Noisy groups of all male / females screaming, arguing and generally not worried about other guests. 5 phone calls to reception between 11pm and 1am. After this we had to move rooms to the upper floor, ended up in a twin room and not a double. Definitely not worth the amount paid, room has to be vacated for 10am so having been woken up by a male group at 3am we managed about 5 hours sleep.

Pros:

It served it's purpose very well. It is up quite a steep hill, but close to the beach and not far from town.

The room was fine - fairly small, but no problem with it for one night.

The beds slightly uncomfortable so wouldn't have wanted to stay there too long.

The hotel was noisy, especially at night. Sounded like lots of drunk guests.

Had a great stay, friendly staff. Great location, close to bic, beach etc. My room was basic, however its great value. Served my needs as just a overnight stay. Didn't visit the bar. The lobby and landing was well presented, nice artwork.
