Excellent for short stay
Pros:

Very convenient in middle of Medowie and incredibly cheap.Comfortable and clean. Only issue was room was rather small but if you are looking for short stay with the price it can not be beaten

Wrong room booked, completely Booking.com's fault and responsibility. # 5283010625
Pros:

Nothing, didn't get to stay there because Booking.com stuffed up the booking. Fail, fail, fail.

Cons:

Been travelling with partner over 30 years and always book either a twin room, Queen and single or two separate rooms. I booked a Queen and single and Booking.com changed it to a Queen. Fail. So late at night we had to travel another 1 1/4 hours over crappy secondary roads to get to alternate accommodation. Staff were apologetic but fully booked out.

Always our first choice of accom when we are up in the area. Great location and great pub.
Pros:

Convenient location. Always clean and tidy.

Cons:

Limited rooms so it can book out very quickly if there is a local event on nearby.
No fly screens on the doors. So during warmer months you will want to keep the doors closed but there is very good Aircon in the rooms.

A VERY COMFORTABLE PLACE TO STAY
Pros:

The hotel itself is under renovation in early March 2026 but the accommodation is perfect for an overnight stay. Great pub meals and close proximity to shops and adventures. It’s great.

Cons:

Property itself will be fantastic when finished but a building site now in March 2026

Right next door to pub - with top rate meals and a live band

Cons:
