One night booking but wd.recommend hotel if above issues resolved!
Pros:

The evening meal on day of arrival was very enjoyable, and the breakfast was also very good, and plentiful!

Cons:

Was surprised that the breakfast was charged separately - assumed my booking was for B & B, not just for the rooms! Would suggest supplying bath mats for showers - health and safety issue? Also no hooks for towels in shower, and toilet roll holder should be replaced - hole in wall not attractive!!

Rooms are a good size, shower lovely and hot, soap and shower gel supplied with towels. The room was comfy and warm. Lovely atmosphere in the pub

Pros:

Good central location in town serving good range of beers and varied food menu. Kingsize bedroom comfortable and clean.

Cons:

Shower cubicle in bathroom was rather compact. A soap tray in the shower would be a helpful addition.

Not a pleasant experience
Pros:

Lovely old building with history.

Cons:

The food was expensive and luke warm. The bed was twins pushed together and the mattresses were hard akin to sleeping on the floor. Broken light over the wash basin in bathroom and no toilet roll holder. Lighting was poor for getting ready in front of a mirror. Toilet seat was small and not secure.

Spot on. Clean, quiet and friendly
Pros:

My room was clean and quiet. I was able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was clean and essentials were provided like towels and body wash etc. my bedding was clean. The room was warm. A fan was also provided in case I was too warm.
