A little noisy if your room is near the parking lot. We had a spacious clean room. Great amenities if you’re into the outdoors. The cafe was great! All in all a positive experience.
The fact that the rooms didn’t have a shower was very inconvenient. Felt like a really expensive hostel.
we were so happy with the service from Karen and Emily, they helped us out with some creative solutions to a few issues and the hotel is fortunate to have them. Karen especially was very welcoming and made our experience the better for her!!
Great place to stay in downtown Leavenworth
Absolutely wonderful stay in downtown area next to natural area. Best of both worlds
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The staff were absolutely amazing. The building is old and the walls are very thin, I was awakened every couple of hours hearing people stomp through the halls and above/next to me. Kept me up most of the night. The property was in a great downtown location, could walk the whole downtown strip. Beer garden out back, place to grab a beer was downstairs, the cafe had amazing staff and you could grab a coffee first thing in the morning. Shirt walk to the river as well.
Clean room.
Close to everything. Great staff. Nice and clean
We were to say the least, very disappointed! There was no one to greet us at the hotel. They gave us a code to get into the hotel, but did that direct us to what door to use. The elevator didn’t work going down so we had to lug our suitcases down the spiral staircase. The room was dirty. We do have pictures if anyone would like to see them. The rooms were very noisy. You could hear people beside you and above you. The air conditioner didn’t work. Nor the TV we just came off a 30 Day Rd. trip and to end it on this note is very bitter and leave a very bad taste in her mouth. We definitely will not stay at this property again or any of their properties.
I liked the fact that you could have a beverage of your chioce right on site. Only Negative is the 4pm check in, which seems to be the norm anymore.
I love this place! Its the only hotel I stay at every year! I would stay here once a season if I could :)
Delightful stay. Close to everything, super clean, good parking.
Some folks are thrown off by shared Men and Women showers and toilets but they were all very well maintained
If you value a restful (and safe) sleep, DO NOT STAY HERE! We chose LOGE for the location on a quiet non-fest weekend, but upon finding the "free" ear plugs (is that what the extra "rec" fee is for?) on the nightstand, we knew the room was a mistake (no refunds, my partner informs me). If I could give NEGATIVE STARS, I would (decades of motel/hotel stays and this was the WORST, by far). Tissue paper-thin walls and non-existent light-blocking on the windows (the security lights from the adjacent building/parking lot illuminate the room all night long like it's mid-day, so bring a thick eye mask). The room on one side: a cell phone/tablet that vibrated on their nightstand with alerts all night long (that's how thin the walls are: you will hear EVERYTHING). The room on the other side: extremely loud drunks screeching & yelling & arguing & thumping & bumping (like moving furniture & throwing things) from midnight to well after 3AM. Dogs barking in the hallway at all hours, but at least the dogs were better behaved than the drunk humans: they barked once or twice and moved on. The human-caused noise lasted for HOURS. And no staff (at all) are available to deal with it, nor do they answer the provided number in the check-in confirmation message. So, who are we supposed to call, the County Sheriff substation? Yeah, right! All of which makes for a very unsafe building. So, all said, we paid hundreds for one truly awful and sleepless night in a glorified (and overpriced) hostel.
We struggled a bit with this property. The hotel was accidentally overbooked and we were very kindly upgraded to the 2 bedroom cabin unit. We were pretty stoked about this upgrade and everything was fabulous until we went into the bathroom.
The bathroom floor literally sank inches when you stepped near the shower. After showering and seeing the leak we quickly understood why, the subfloor beneath the bathroom flooring has clearly rotted out. The whole bathroom smelled so strongly of mold we kept the door shut the entire stay.
Had I paid for this cabin I would have been extremely upset, but as it was an upgrade we dealt with it. Following our stay we reported the issue to management and the response we got left something to be desired “thanks for the feedback we’ll address this”.
Moral of the story, great property, lovely cabin aside from the deteriorating bathroom. I wouldn’t stay here again until that’s fixed.
I didn't like the fact I didn't have a fully functioning bathroom. No toilet or shower
Really cute upscale hostel in the heart of Leavenworth. There was a hammock in the room, and it had all the amenities needed, like a microwave, fridge, a/c and tv, towels & soaps. Loved that there was a coffee shop on site & the best part was the nano-brewery in the basement (The Doghaus)! Great location, quiet, and felt so relieving to find parking straight away.
Convienient to downtown. Walking is doeable but we had bikes and that was much easier. Little trail to the river was nice and had chairs down theres as well. All the coolers, bags, outdoor gear was clean and available in the room to use. The cabin is small small. The bathroom is 5 feet from the head of the bed- but the plumbing was top notch so it wasn't a big deal. Loud but helped with the proximity of the bathroom to the bed. The bridge and traffic are right over head. I thought it was going to be a problem but I barely noticed it. Coming back to camp at night was so fun with all the twinkle lights on. Text communication with staff was quick and efficient. Would definitely stay again!
Stayed 2 nights....2nd night was a much better experience than the 1st day of arrival....Amy made up for that experience...she was welcoming....informative of the town ...places to dine...directions etc....The Manager of the LOGE was also very welcoming....its too bad we didn't experience that on check in the day before with the male barista....housekeeping is wonderful they acknowledge you as you walk back and fourth....rooms are comfortable...I appreciate the walk in showers....decent size fridge....but most the location....walking distance to everything....
