Pros:

Nous prévenons de notre arrivée tardive par téléphone au cours de la soirée du 14, la personne sèchement nous demande de lui faire un SMS. Pas de réponse. Parvenus à Udaipur nous prenons un taxi et tentons de le joindre. 30 min après de nombreuses tentatives, nous parvenons enfin à le joindre : sa réponse allez ailleurs, nous sommes fermés et nous raccroche au nez. Demandons le remboursement de notre nuit

Pros:

A home away from home. Home made food was exactly we wished without oil and spices. Courteous lady of home, however, unlike hotel, if you leave room untidy you come back to same untidy room unless one insist on doing the room afresh. No floor or washroom cleaning on their own but when we demanded it was done. Safe and secured home and proper guidance from home owner on travel and sightseeing were additional plus point.

Cute homestay just out of the old town center
Pros:

This is a very cute homestay, decorated with the local art and decor. The family is very friendly and quiet. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The homestay is in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 10 minute walk from the center of the old town. The view of the sunset from the roof is to die for. The WiFi was slow but available. Breakfast was light, but tasty. They offered paratha and curd or eggs and toast.
