Beautiful but too quiet
Pros:

The Meibia is a modern comfortabe hotel. It is a 10 minute walk from the station angd yet presents very restful atmosphere. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable.

Cons:

While the hotel was full, we did not see anyone in the lounge the first night and only two other people the second night. It was just too quiet. Also the snacks provided with the drinks in the evening were disappointing. No japanese food, just amuse bouche sized servings of cheese on tiny plates and pre-wrapped in plastic.

Pros:

An outstanding hotel in every sense. Beautiful, modern and spacious rooms and lots of amenities. Free mini bar and snacks.

Hidden gem
Pros:

What a delighrful small hotel! Lovely contemporary Japanese decor, great service, delicous meals and a room that was perfect for our needs. Brilliant shower!

Fantastic stay in Dec 2025
Pros:

Rooms were modern, spacious and extremely comfortable. Great facilities (lots of free parking, lounge with drinks/food, restaurants, gym, even a library). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

If you don't have a car, the location may be a bit far from the station with luggage.

A 5 star hotel disguised as a 3 star hotel.
Pros:

Best amenities in Japan, pajamas and slippers were insanely comfortable and they have the best model of neorest for the toilet.
Minibar is fully free including alcohol.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating
Pillows were fantastic, a little firm but didn’t deflate like most Japanese hotel pillows

Cons:

Location is not the most convenient, 15 minute walk from Miyazaki Station and 7-10 minutes to a bus stop.
WiFi was a bit spotty
