Great location. Rooms were generous and well appointed.
Easy check in.
Knowlegable staff.
The room was huge and opened on to the balcony. Bed comfortable and snacks with the breakfast box was great.
Unfortunately room 10 is above the Poker machine lounge which could clearly be heard...even with ear plugs. The poker machine venue opens at 10am and closes at 1am.
The location was perfect!!!
Nothing
Access to local restaurants, bars and cafes plus boutique shopping was ideal. We loved sitting in the outdoor area having a beer and watching the world go about its business. The staff were very helpful and kind, especially Jodie.
Would have loved a bigger bed, the bed felt small for the suite..
Its location is great. The bathroom is nicely renovated.
It has a lot of streaming options including Netflix.
The room was quite small.
Spacious room and good location, spotless clean
Great location and wonderful history attached to the hotel.
The food was very average. I got sick
Excellent central location. Good value for money. Clean, spacious room. Large ensuite (double shower). Small breakfast provisions (unexpected bonus). Parking at rear. The only thing the room lacked was a full length mirror which we would have appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay.
Room lacked a full length mirror which would have been appreciated.
Very good
The fact the we booked with Booking.com and shortly after booking, we went again to Booking.com website and saw better rooms for less than what we paid for.
We feel that we can't trust Booking.com anymore
Beautiful large room, comfy bed and rain shower…very friendly staff who were quick to recommend things to do and see.. and a perfect location. We were here four days to attend a wedding and had lots of fun exploring from the central location and returning to our lovely room
Good location.
No long mirror in the room. Not having a full breakfast on site .
But they did provide a basic breakfast box.
The room was modern and spacious for an old pub. The bathroom was impressive, with a double shower. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking Daylesford was lovely. The tea and coffee provisions were neatly hidden away in a larger drawer underneath the bench. It was cold night, but after we turned off the heating, the room stayed warm all night. It is right in the centre of Daylesford which was handy for a bakery breakfast.
It was a little noisy in the early hours, but this was to be expected, staying in a hotel with a sports bar below. It would also depend on where your room is. The bed was not very comfortable for me, but OK for partner.
Lugging the bags upstairs was a bit of an effort, but we knew that would be the case as all rooms upstairs.
Loved the room, staff very friendly, facilities were great
I would have said excellent, beyond expectations but the sound of music (particularly the bass) and voices from below room 10 in the pokies bar kept me awake until 1am ....and then to top it off an alarm went off .....it seemed really quiet outside on the street but not in the room ....suggest sound proofing the roof of the sportsbar and pokies room
It was lovely and a nice ambiance
I stayed in room 2, was very nice but the shower head dripped all day and night
Everything.
