I would come back to Livingston and stay here again (:
Pros:

I really loved the receptionist Edbin, he was extremely hospitable and attentive to our requests i.e shuttle service to Rio Dulce.

Cons:

There’s nothing I didn’t like! Everything was honestly perfect!

Heerlijk hotel, echt aan te raden!
Pros:

Cons:

Het ontbijt had wat uitgebreider kunnen zijn.

Not worth the money, go somewhere else
Pros:

It was okay at best. Booked cause it had decent reviews and nice photos, the place felt outdated. Only one staff on location at any time and they weren’t very friendly. They did point me in the right direction to get laundry done, so I guess that’s something. The pool was unusable! The photos made it look so nice but all the tiles on the steps to get in were broken and sharp, and it had a ton of algae in it the one day we went to use it, which just made it feel unsafe. The room itself was decent, spacious with a much needed Ac that worked great. The “king” bed was two twin pushed together, which is fine but they were very hard and pillows were janky. The shower had good hot water but not good pressure. Oh and the restaurant was non existent. We were told that breakfast was available but when we tried it was closed and no one was around, ever! None of the amenities that were listed were available. Luckily we were able to get food right next door and if we were to ever come back to Livingston we would honestly go somewhere else!

Overprized …
Pros:

The view from our suite was nice.

Cons:

The property is a shabby, the staff is not attentive and breakfast is very ordinary. The restaurant is open for breakfast only. The property does not accept credit cards, but wants payment in cash or via PayPal. The location shown on booking.com is not correct. It is located on the other side of the town. The property is about 1.2 km from downtown.

My stay was great. Will come back.
Pros:

I loved it so much. It’s exactly how you see in the pictures. Doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. Cozy, colorful & lots of art.

Cons:

The ONLY small thing I didn’t like is that with the “desayuno chapin” there’s no option of sausage. That’s really it.

Poor
Pros:

Staff was nice.

Cons:

Totally overpriced. Absolutely not worth the money. Pool dirty (they just cleaned it for us when we arrived,.but it still looked very dirty). Tv did not work, smell in the room was very bad, carpet floor was falling off, shower had so little water we couldn't actually shower. Floor on the bathroom was coming off. Staff was nice. But for the rest I Really not recommend

Nice Hotel close to the water with a pool.
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at the Delfin with our two small children. The highlight was the pool, which we used everyday. Breakfast was included and a great start for the day. (Regular options of eggs & beans, pancakes with sirup or toasts with jam). Our room had two large beds, private bathroom, AC and a ventilator which was very helpful as the weather is very humid and hot, even at night.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions about what to do in Livingston and how to get there and even organized the pick up directly from the Hotel’s dock.

Cons:

Wifi was not available in all parts of the hotel, the best connection was close to the reception.
