Red Roof Inn Baton Rouge

Was in a rush, front desk agent kept stopping to play with her kids instead of checking me in.
Room was clean. Area is sketchy. Couldn’t get tv to work.

While my stay at red roof was for only 2 nights the room itself was exactly what the online photo presented cleanliness and all. The staff had a willigness to help and great Customer Service is valued these days and times..upon my initial check in the television in my room wasnt working and 2 different male front desk clerks from different shifts as well as a male daytime manager couldn't resolve whatever the problem was. Upon stepping out on the 2nd days stay a female front desk clerk was also asked and presented with the television issue. After informing her of the other male coworkers who failed at getting me some television access she was given my room number and permission to go in when I returned later that evening my television was on and I told my husband it took 1 woman to do the job 3 men couldn't and smiled. That topped off my day. There is a coined washer and dryer available on site that I did use the front desk clerk had change for my one load it's currently $2 for each machine neither damaged or messed up any of our clothing as well as a snack machine but there are lots of stores and restaurants on that main road to where we didnt need to purchade from it. Overall any future return trips back home if I needed to get a room again I would definitely return and recommend others to get a room with them.

The TV didn't work. there was no phone in the room. There were no cups or glasses in the bathroom. I will never stay at a red roof inn again!!!

The room smelled awful. The cleaning wasn't good. The towels were poorly washed. When I arrived, they wanted to charge me again.

The staff was excellent. Excellent service. The staff assignment a room wasn’t ready, first impression the smell in the room was horrible. But the staff on charge fix the situation with proper service, and he apologized. The rest was excellent.

Great place to stay. Pets are welcome too.

Pulled into the parking lot to see several adult males standing around drinking alcohol, homeless people sitting in the parking lot next to the hotel and random people walking thru the lot. Left to get food, came back and no change so asked for a refund and left.

Lobby is very small. Rooms are small but fine for a discount hotel. I like the mini kitchen! Rooms were fine for cleanliness. Lots of people just hanging around the front of the hotel, which felt a little odd. Love that first pet is free, $15 for additional pet

The property looked like it has been recently renovated.

Never stayed whole place reeked of poison paint. Burnt my eyes and throat from the lobby up too the room. So i left very dangerous too rent rooms.

They were remodeling the hotel and the lobby and first floor was full of paint thinner and paint fumes you could hardly breathe. If I hadnt paid and it wasn't so late i would have left, and found another hotel. I asked if i could get a late checkout and was very rudely told no checkout is at 11..
