Zuerst Webseite des Hotels überprüfen.

Cons:

Bilder und Realität entsprechen nicht. Da ich auf ihrer Webseite geschaut habe, wusste ich, was mich erwartet. Aber alleine die Bilder auf Booking wäre nicht aufschlussreich gewesen.
Besitzer waren nicht freundlich (auch nicht unfreundlich).

Une très belle expérience dans ce cadre unique.
Pros:

Un accueil excellent, une équipe très professionnelle et accueillante. Le cadre unique et la chambre très bien équipée dans un style chaleureux nous ont beaucoup plu. Nous avons été séduits également par la créativité de la cuisine qui nous ont offert un excellent repas. Nous y retournerons assurément.

Lage ist Top, Sauberes Zimmer - dem Alter entsprechend gut, (theoretisch) tolle Self-Service Station

Ich komme selber aus der Hotellerie/Gastronomie, also behaupte ich ein wenig Ahnung zu haben.

Wir waren 3 Tage/2 Nächte im Hotel. Während dieser Zeit haben wir kein einziges mal jemand vom Personal getroffen. Self CheckIn und Self CheckOut.

Es hat einen Raum wo man sich bedienen kann zum trinken und essen - eigentlich eine tolle Idee aber an der Umsetzung haperts: unser dreckiges Geschirr stand an unserem letzten Tag noch immer am gleichen Ort wo wir es hingestellt haben. Kaffemaschine funktionierte nicht und es hatte keine Kapseln da. War auch nicht schlimm wenn sie ja nicht funktioniert. Im Kapselbehälter waren gebrauchte Kapseln drin und im Wasserbehälter bildete sich am Boden schon grüne Algen/Schimmel: meiner Meinung nach seit Tagen/Wochen nicht geputzt
Die Auswahl an Getränken ist Top! Allerdings viel zu Teuer für Self Service. Wär es „serviert“ im Restaurant gewesen dann OK. Essenstechnisch hatte es nur ein „Käseplättli“ für 19.- oder so. Auch hier: das Kostet in der Migros usw vielleicht 5/6.-
Wäre das schön angerichtet noch mit Brot dazu usw dann würde man auch gerne 19.- dafür bezahlen.

Frühstück war im Zimmer nicht inkludiert, ist nicht schlimm, haben wir ja auch so gebucht. Allerdings wurde das auch nie angeboten zum evtl. Extern bezahlen. Schliesslich steht an der Rezeption auch ein Schild das Frühstück zwischen 08:00 und 10:00 serviert wird.
Essen im Restaurant das gleiche. Absolut keine Infos wann denn evtl. das Restaurant geöffnet wäre, schliesslich wird das ja gelobt in den anderen Bewertungen. Wir wichen also für Frühstück und Abendessen aufs Restaurant Hotel Rigi Kaltbad aus.


Ich kann auch absolut verstehen das im moment Zwischensaison ist aber wir buchten ja schliesslich ein Hotel und zum Hotel gehören ein wenig Service einfach dazu! Wir bezahlen ja schliesslich auch den Hotelpreis von über 200.- die Nacht. Hätte das ganze nur 50.

Wonderful stay with exceptional service and breathtaking views

The manager was honestly the highlight of our stay — incredibly kind, attentive, and professional from the very first moment. The level of service we received made us feel truly welcome and cared for throughout the entire time we were there.

Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly clean. What made it truly special were the breathtaking views, which we were able to enjoy during our short stay from Sunday night to Monday morning. It was a memorable and very pleasant experience.

We are genuinely very grateful for the warmth, dedication, and hospitality shown to us. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely love to return in the future and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful and relaxing experience.

Interesting experience at a ghost hotel.
Pros:

We arrived at the hotel to find that it was completely empty. No staff, no guests. We called the hotel telephone number and spoke with someone who was surprised that we were at the hotel despite having a confirmed reservation. He was able to help us find and open a room which we could use. The price included breakfast, but as the hotel was empty, we had to go to the hotel near the railway station for dinner and breakfast the next day. The owner refunded an amount for breakfast, but the bank fees took most of the refund.

Cons:

The price for the room with breakfast was much too high for the service we received. It was low season and the hotel should indicate that it is closed and not accepting reservations rather than lure guests to a "ghost hotel".
