Le Nessay

We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned.
The breakfast was all self service. The quality of the breakfast was excellent but it would have nice to have someone explain that you have to make your own coffee (the coffee machine was well away from the breakfast buffet, almost at the kitchen. The staff at the breakfast could have been a bit more friendly to be honest.
The hotel has a beautiful bar and terrace overlooking the sea and we had a lovely glass of wine there after our arrival. We didn’t try the restaurant as the menu was not so suitable for us but the bar did offer some snacks.
Unfortunately on our second evening (or actually already late afternoon) the bar had absolutely horrible techno party with dj from 4:30 until 9:30pm. There were hardly any customers in the bar but blaring noise that was really irritating. I am a professional musician and wouldn’t mind music in general but this was just infantile computer generated techno with the same thumbing beat for 5 hours. Horrendous!. As mentioned our room was at a gatehouse which was about 100m from the main house and the bar. It must have been unbearable at the main building. There was no prior information about the this techno party otherwise we would have stayed away and had dinner elsewhere.

Cadre très agréable et chambre confortable et bien équipée. Très jolie décoration.
Le menu du bar offre un choix correct mais nous aurions préféré dîner au restaurant qui malheureusement était fermé.
Nous avons reçu un très chaleureux accueil pour notre anniversaire, et nous remercions le personnel pour toutes leurs petites attentions.

Juste une petite recommandation. Améliorer un chouïa le petit-déjeuner, par exemple offrez le choix des thés du bar, revoir la préparation du cappuccino

Nous avons aimé ce superbe hôtel au cœur d’un site exceptionnel, ce concept très agréable de se sentir comme à la « maison » décorée avec beaucoup de goût, le tout couronné par une équipe jeune et très « pro », belle réussite, merci.

The property was surrounded by water and the views were spectacular. Sitting on the deck at night drinking cocktails was a really special experience. The staff was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. While the dinner menu was not extensive we really enjoyed the fresh fish we ate both nights. The food was fresh and delicious. My only negative was that our room, although lovely, was on the small side. We loved it there and I look forward to going back.

Wunderbares Hotel an außergewöhnlicher Lage! Sehr zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal. Super Terrasse. Auto wird einem irgendwo geparkt.
Wir wuerden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

We had a wonderful stay at le Nessay. The location was amazing, the rooms perfect with everything you would ever need including lots of space. They were spotless. The restaurant and bar were amazing and the staff super sweet. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Séjour qui eut pu être parfait si nous n'avions été réveillés à 3 reprises par une alarme au beau milieu de la nuit. Malgré l'explication de la réceptionniste selon qui un intrus s'était introduit dans l'enceinte du parc de l'hôtel, cela n'empêche en rien la perturbation soudaine en plein sommeil. Un petit geste commercial aurait été de bon ton.
Néanmoins, l'endroit est sublime, la restauration (terrasse notamment) au niveau et le service bon dans l'ensemble. Enfin le lieu en tant que tel est juste extraordinaire.

A remarkable transformation to the highest standard of an old chateau in an exquisite location. The staff were really helpful, the food delicious and the room beautifully decorated and comfortable. We shall definitely stay here again.

Magnifique établissement pour une parenthèse à Saint-Briac ! Aucune fausse note lors de notre séjour, très bon accueil !
