The hotel is in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants. I had a late breakfast and really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the hotel's quaintness and the room's decor.
The bed was not that comfortable.
The best “French-style” hotel I have ever stayed in. Honestly, I have not even come across something like this in France. It is incredibly cozy, comfortable, and full of charm.
I truly hope to come back one day and find it just as warm and welcoming as it is now
The only downside was that I had to leave
We just checked into the Palihotel. I had asked for a quiet room but it is not--there is an open air restaurant in the back with a lot of happy people chatting and having a great time, meanwhile the sound is coming up to our 3rd floor room. The room is tiny and was designed by someone who must have worked in model homes (where all the furniture is scaled down to make the room seem bigger). For instance, look at the desk--it's as deep as two coffee cups and has those, a coffee maker and a dial telephone so there is about a 12" x 12" square space to put your things. The cute little chintz armchair and table is tiny--see a picture of my husband sitting in it. There are no luggage racks, very little space on the bathroom counter to put one's toiletries, hair curler, etc. and sharp corners to the bedframe to snag your ankles. The restaurant doesn't open until 8 am which seems unacceptably late for anyone on business. I do not recommend this hotel.
Great location, walking distance to The Culver Steps and restaurants. Dog friendly:)
Over priced for what it is and it’s a noisy facility.
We stayed in room #107 not only is it VERY small (like barely any walking room) it was unfortunately next door to the hotel staff room. They slammed their door about every 5 minutes going in and out until 11pm and then started up again at 5a. Not a restful night sleep to say the least.
Thankfully they were able to accommodate us with another room for our second night which was a courtyard room, much roomier room and the courtyard access was nice especially with a dog. it was a pain packing up and moving rooms but it was worth it. The restaurants kitchen must be located behind or below that courtyard room #110 because it was pretty noisy with them cleaning up until 10p,
BUT better than a slamming door I suppose!
Trendy neighborhood.
Unfortunately doesn’t live up to what’s advertised. Rooms have a strange smell. Standard rooms on the groundfloor don’t have rooms with daylight and are right next to the restaurant.
Beautiful boutique hotel in a cool, clean part of LA (Culver). Was blown away by how nice the room and bed were. Everything felt magical. Bar downstairs was cool, staff was cool. Being close to so many shops and restaurants was excellent as I was able to walk to get anything I needed. Amenities in the room were nice, albeit a bit pricey, but I didnt really partake since my stay was so short and I could walk towards the Trader Joe's that was 5 minutes away. Surrounding neighborhood is really lovely. Would absolutely stay here again.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
The breakfast was excellent and the location was very convenient for walking around and exploring the area.
The bottom of the shower door wasn't fully sealed so water spilled onto the bathroom floor but it's such a minor issue that can easily be resolved.
Very clean, cute, great staff, great location cute restaurant. Again AMAZING staff especially the front desk Spencer,Janice and GM Luis and housekeeping. They went above and beyond .
Don't rent the bikes get an electric one !Buy food at the local places. The food is just ok the cocktails are great .
Fantastic courtyard restaurant with great food!
I ordered breakfast, but in never arrived.
I stayed here while working out in Culver City for a few days. The hotel is super cute and quaint. The stay is so friendly and immediately makes you feel welcomed. Davyd checked me in and was so wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and took such good care of me. Every time I needed anything he was so kind and pleasant. Also the restaurant next to the lobby was delicious and wait staff was also so kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Davyd and staff for the great experience!
I absolutely loved this hotel. It was the perfect location for me and a great value too. It was a 20 min drive to LAX, so close to a lot of touristy spots, and there’s a coworking space a 5 min walk away for those who need that (I did). I also loved that there were a lot of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel - so if you don’t rent a car (like me) you have a lot of options without ubering! The rooms were so cute and clean and just what I needed. The staff was amazing. I want to shout out Bryan and Davyd. They were so helpful and courteous and just very kind!
