Mark and Karen were great hosts. Really friendly, happy to help (above and beyond our expectations), knowledgeable about the area and history of the building.
The breakfasts were outstanding and the homebaked treats in the lounge were a lovely extra.
A really relaxing stay with thre right combination of luxury and home comforts. Ideally placed for exploring the town, nearby countryside or the Brecon beacons.

Amazing hotel where everything exceeded our expectations, Mark and Karen were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble (even dippy eggs for breakfast). The breakfast was fantastic with such a varied choice. We even had a flask of tea and fresh pastries for our walks. We are already planning a return trip here.

The owners were grate very welcoming and the room was lovely ,bed was very comfortable the hole place was spotless and food very good

Room was beautifully set up and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, coffee was great. Starting each morning with a freshly baked pain au chocolat was fabulous! 👌 Hosts were lovely, welcoming and super friendly.

Wonderful hosts, very comfortable rooms. Attention to detail with lovely touches. We were headed out for the day and they gave us flasks of tea and pastries to take with us. Local produce at breakfast which was delicious with perfectly poached eggs. Bathroom toiletries all locally sourced too. Excellent communication from booking to departure. Look forward to returning.

We only had coffee and toast and it was spot on. Our host Mark was excellent

Excellent well appointed and very comfortable. The owners were welcoming and the extras in the room were a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients and plenty of it. The communal lounge a nice touch with the honesty bar. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely night away. Mark and Karen were brilliant hosts. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Great array of drinks and snacks available. Soft towels and comfy beds. Delicious breakfast cooked by Karen. All the ingredients were excellent quality and cooked excellently. A perfect little base for a weekend in Wales. We enjoyed walking Pen Y fan. Mark recommended a local pub for a drink in the evening and there was some live music going on. Karen even gave us some pastries to enjoy on our walk.

What a superb find, from the moment I booked I knew Id be in safe hands. The communication was exemplary, we organised breakfast in advance, Mark sorted dinner out for me. It was a first class stay in a wonderful village.

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for Mark and Karen. We were treated like VIP's throughout our stay, from the breakfasts to the constant supply of fresh coffee and homemade cakes.
The little luxuries in the room just added to the experience.

Breakfast was delicious well prepared using quality local ingredients. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very well prepared. The hosts are just magical, warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Had a 3 night stay at The new white lion in Llandovery.
The room was spotless packed with everything you would expect.
Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and good quality ingredients. The hot breakfasts were cooked to perfection.
The hosts were extremely friendly, giving plenty of help and ideas on what to do whilst there, nothing was too much trouble.
