What you would expect
Pros:

It was good for the price. What you would normally expect for a low budget stay. We just needed a place to stay for a night before we headed to Catalina the next day and this for the bill. It was clean and quiet. We were there on a Thursday so that may have had something to do with it. Check in was easy. There was no problem parking.

Cons:

The walls were thin enough that you could hear the traffic on the street when loud cars passed.

I appreciated the staff, the free parking, and a great rate.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in and out. Free parking was a plus. Nice coffee shop right around the corner. The room was simple, clean, and spacious.

Cons:

It was about a 20 minute walk to the convention center and didn't have an iron / ironing board.

The ice machine that's the only problem we have
Pros:

I think the ice machine needs to be working when customers are there every time we come there the ice machine is not working and that's not fair to the customers especially in the summertime because we do be needing ice you have a machine there that doesn't work that's not fair I think you guys need to work on that that's a very good idea we come there every year please twice out of the year and the ice machine is not working now that's not fair

Pros:

The convenience of being close to the port was helpful

Cons:

The intersection that surrounds the hotel was extremely loud all night long, then construction started at 6am. Also, the pillows may have been boulders wrapped in a pillow case
