Very dark and claustrophobic rooms for a terrible price.

Location was great.

Cons:

Our room was very small and dark. It could be bearable if the price was right but it was not. Not a great value hotel. We found better value hotels later in our trip in Tokyo.

The room is very clean, and the location is very convenient for exploring Tokyo
Pros:

The front desk staff are very kind and polite. they are always welcome and ready to help and The area is absolutely great! just 3min walk to Ueno Station and with lots of shops and restaurants nearby so recommend!

You can also find hotel amenities and a laundry room on the same floor the front desk, which is very convenient. There’s a complimentary drink zone with delicious Biscoff cookies nearby.

Importantly, the room is cleaned daily but you must put up the 'Cleaning' sign for the service. Also, make sure to place all garbage inside the bin provided. If trash is left outside the bin and the staff will not take it away, so don't forget this part!

Cons:

For The room, It’s more cramped than I expected, but had no problem with it and I understand that space is limited in Ueno.

Although the room is small, there is enough floor space to open two suitcases; you just need to fold them back up when not in use to maintain moving space.
