big room; Staff in BOTH hotels. We were kindly moved to Doutonbori Crystal Hotel III because when we arrived to our original hotel Doutonbori Crystal Hotel- there was HORRIBLE noise from MAJOR construction adjacent. Staff was very kind to move us!! and I really appreciate that!

Clean and simple
Pros:

Bathroom was easily the biggest we had during our 18 day trip in Japan. It was nice that the shower had a door to close off to the toilet.
Location is pretty good, close to the popular sights and train stations. Beds were comfortable too with convenient light switches at the bed side tables.

Cons:

There was construction happening around the hotel - which we were made aware of - so this did throw off the vibe a little with the constant noise going on. I believe the construction will finish at the end of June though. Windows were thick enough to block a majority of the noise, and the construction did not run through the night.
Walls were a bit mucky with stains and such, but if you don't pay close attention to that stuff it won't bother you.

Japanese luxury accomodation
Pros:

This was a absolute lovely location, if you are going to stay ensure that you have cash on hand as alot of the restaurants open in the evening if not dinning in are Cash restaurants which was a little issue for us but over all our stay was amazing
