Pros:

Wonderful 5 day stay at Purana for our honeymoon. The people who staff the resort are so very friendly and helpful. A highlight was the boat trip to Kong Island and also riding around the island in the resort’s Honda scooter with sidecar.

The staff was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. The location was beautiful. The water was warm the pool amazing the food was great.

Fantastic hotel with stunning sunset view. The resort is quiet and private. Perfect for retreat and chillax, staying with yourself and soothing your soul! Breakfast is great, good ingredient, receive and menu. The best part is staff, they are super friendly and helpful, take good care of all details. Love the place, will come back for sure!

Pros:

The property was well run with excellent service and cleanliness. It was very quiet as the road to the property was a dead end and finished two kms later.
However shopping, cafes etc were at least 4 km from the hotel, but staff provided a free drop-off and pick up service

Privacy and service at its best

Purana is a wonderful place to stay for a private holiday. Our transportation was very complex. We were arriving after the ferry to the island stopped running. They arranged private transportation for us. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport and took us to the boat. Seamless! When we arrived they acted like they were waiting just for us. They sat us down with the best welcome drink and were so incredibly friendly. Our villa was #8 which is up a steep hill, but they always took us by golf cart. So beautiful! It’s worth the money for the view and private pool. They arranged all excursions and took us to a beautiful restaurant on a hill with a 360 degree view. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful resort!

Two Room, both amazing.
Pros:

We had booked the Pool Villa 2. Unfortunately when we arrived we learned there had been a mix up and that someone was still in that room. I was not happy, but what can you do. We were given a sea view villa for night one and a complimentary dinner. Meals can be eaten in the restaurant or brought to your room at no extra cost. The food was wonderful. Not everything on the menu is always available. It is a small hotel. Our room was lovely and the view was great at high tide, less so at low tide. The ants in the room were pretty active at night. You definitely don't want any food left in the room. The bathtub on the deck was luxurious. We rented a motorbike and sidecar for the day. So MUCH FUN! When we got back our room was available. Oh what a view!!!! So glad we got to experience both rooms.
