Very trendy place, very pleasant, very helpful front desk especially Miss Lucky Fang who is kind enough to upgrade our room.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war perfekt.
The location is great, it is located in a fairly quiet area but in the center of the city. Also, the hotel was clean and the facilities did not disappoint.
Our room was not ready for check in at the appropriate hour and there was delay on the delay on the delay. They told us that they will give us food for the inconvenience but they only brought few fruits for three people. I believe they could have handled the situation better.
1. Stylish and modern design — the rooms are spacious, and having a 58m² room with a large bathtub is quite special for Shanghai.
2. Comfortable bed, shower, and bathroom.
3. Great breakfast selection — everything was delicious, and the live cooking stations were a nice touch.
4. Very friendly staff at the breakfast restaurant, and a special mention to the night shift receptionist on April 20–21.
5. Excellent location, with convenience stores just downstairs and many restaurants and cafés nearby.
1. The lobby is a bit too dark.
2. Too few reception counters — one is reserved for concierge — which makes it difficult to manage check-in and check-out during peak hours. There’s no one organizing the queue, so guests often end up waiting a long time. Staff simply serve whoever is in front of them, regardless of who arrived first, leading to a chaotic and disorganized situation. This reflects a lack of management, not individual staff fault.
3. The service center staff should be more familiar with hotel procedures/product knowledge. We called a few times with simple questions and they were unable to answer. For example, when we asked if we could order a quick breakfast to the room (as our breakfast was included), the operator had to forward the call to reception, which resulted in another long wait. Basic inquiries like this should be handled directly by the service center to reduce the burden on the already overwhelmed reception team.
Excellent hotel and staff.
The lobby and the bar are a bit disappointing when you have worked all day and just want a place to chill. However, the room was great and very comfortable. I don’t know that I would book again because I do like a good vibe when you arrive and somewhere to unwind. It is in a more business area.
