Great place to stay during your visit in Kathmandu
Pros:

The service was very good. I particularly appreciated to be able to check out later without cost. The roof terrace was amazing

Cons:

The smaller bed was less comfortable than the larger one. Although it was generally clean, you could see some mould in the bathroom

Perfect stay for a solo traveler!
Pros:

Ideal location in Thamel. Staff are very friendly and room was spacious with big cupboards. Restaurant at top terrace had stunning views and the dinner menu was lovely. When I left early for a tour, the desk had a take away breakfast box ready for me to collect.

Cons:

Hair dryer didn’t work in bathroom.

Удобное расположение в отличном районе. Вкусный завтрак на террасе с видом на горы. Так же протестировали ресторан на ужины, было вкусно. Из плюсов отмечу- горячую воду, восхитительный завтрак, удобные кровати

Cons:

Было холодно в номере, кондиционеры старые, нудно было 2 часа чтоб нагреть комнату

Timber House and Kathmandu definitely both are worth a visit - we loved every minute!!
Pros:

The lovely and perfectly located hotel was perfect for our trip. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant and the staff were so welcoming and attentive. Great location to explore everything on foot. And such a comfy bed!!
