The hotel was amazing, and the staff were incredible!
Pros:

Timber House was incredible. The rooms were big and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The bar and restaurant has beautiful views and great food. Far and away the highlight was the staff, they were so kind and courteous, and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. They were so welcoming and helped with everything from taxis to laundry. They truly made our stay amazing.

My room was at the back of the hotel looking at a concrete wall. It was dark & the WiFi was bad there & I had to go to the rooftop to do business

Views of snow capped mountains on sunny afternoons, drinking hot lemon, honey and ginger.
Pros:

Location was outstanding. Walking distance to many temples and palaces.
Many shopping options nearby.
Food was outstanding, with a great varied range of breakfast options with components changing daily.
Above all else, the staff are incredible, friendly, kind, knowledgeable. I miss my hot lemon, honey and ginger already!

Deserves 11 Stars
Pros:

Literally everything in the hotel was perfect. The staff were always so friendly and could not help enough. The rooftop bar was a pleasure in the evening being open air looking over the city. The bedroom was super comfortable and the shower was a delight.

Nice enough - lovely staff and rooms were good -
Pros:

The rooftop bar was lovely

Cons:

Service for food was very slow - they said it was because they were busy - yet I was the only person in the hotel eating at that time . Food quality was pretty poor also -
My room was very noisy - mainly coming from a door that lead onto a front balcony

Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at the Timber house lodge. The rooms are clean and the rooftop views at breakfast are great. The staff were really helpful especially Susmita who was always on hand to offer advice.
