Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut, zentral. In der Nähe viele Restaurants und Temel. Man kann auch zu Fuß zum Durban Squere laufen. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war gut, auf der Dachterrasse serviert, sehr schön da.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer beim Duschen sieht unter Wasser, aber so baut man leider in Nepal. Ziemlich laut im Zimmer, da direkt an der Straße.

Clean, modern hotel on the edge of Thamel. Short walk to food and shopping,.
Pros:

I only had 1 night here after being on a tour. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Check-in was easy. Plenty of wifi around the hotel. Rooftop bar and restaurant. Located in Thamel - easy walking to the other areas for shopping and food. Would stay here again.

Cons:

I have no complaints.

Pros:

The location is perfect. Very near and convenient to shops, cafe and restaurant. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok, nice rooftop with pretty view. Friendly staff as well.

Fantastische service en geweldig eten en drinken
Pros:

Geweldige service en bediening (ongeëvenaard) + eten en drinken (koffie!!!). Ook goede en betaalbare massages.

Cons:

Als je een standaard kamer hebt, is er geen lift. Maar is wel een goede training als je een hike gaat doen 😊

A comfortable and well-located stay with warm hospitality and thoughtful service.
Pros:

We had a great stay at Timber House by Tara Group. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a lovely vibe. The team was extremely courteous and kind enough to upgrade our room, which we truly appreciated. The location is very convenient—close to the airport and within easy reach of Thamel and other key spots, making it perfect for a short stay. Overall, the service and comfort made our experience very smooth and enjoyable.

Best value hotel in Thamel
Pros:

This hotel iis in a fantastic location, with restaurants, bars, pubs and bazzar shopping right on your doorstep. Easy walking distance to the Narayanhiti Palace (now a museum) and the Garden of Dreams, plus a few great cooking schools (try Kathmandu Cooking Academy). The staff are SO helpful and accommodating. Rooms are generous in size and breakfast serves Nepali and western food - a great way to start the day! Best of all, the rooftop terrace and bar is a great way to sip drinks and mingle with other travellers. I highly rate this hotel!
