Friendliness and location of the hotel, and amazing fresh breakfast, best ever had in a hotel.
I think.the decor needs some updating ,but added to the charm, still like your traditional hotel room of years ago.
Good central location, very clean and welcoming. The staff and owners were lovely and the breakfast was great
Very comfortable and really close to the theatre. Short drive from the hills themselves. Fantastic breakfast

Great location, great staff, great food & plenty of whiskey!
A group of six of us, all mates, stayed at the Great Malvern Hotel and it was perfect for us to meet up, use as a base for walking the hills and chill out at the end of the day.
Becky checked us in and from the outset had us laughing with her fun sense of humor. The rooms were good; nice and warm, great shower and a lift to all floors (which certainly helped at the end of the night after we had consumed copious amounts of Cotswold Whisky!).
We had several beers in the bar with a great choice of the usual suspects and several other ales available. After quantity became an issue we hit the rum and whisky before moving from the bar to a smaller room later in the night, taking drinks with us.
Next day at breakfast we were looked after by Jeremy who was fantastic. Another great sense of humour with bucket loads of wit (& a little bit of charm ;0) thrown into the mix. The food was delicious and we wanted for nothing. A great start to our day.
To be truthful we all said we wanted to stay but alas hadn’t planned for an extra night.
We loved the fact the owners, management & staff all seem to have a great sense of humour (which I guess some people just don’t get) and certainly looked after us.
We will be back and probably not venture too far from the hotel next time as the whole experience was just what we needed.
Thanks to Jeremy, Becky and all those involved in looking after us at the hotel we really enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend the Great Malvern Hotel.
Limited parking but that’s a minor point.
Excellent property, well decorated and comfortable
The staff were helpful especially the girls at breakfast. Breakfast freshly cooked, no dried out bacon! Extra touches in room, water and nice glasses. Small bowl of sweets and a chocolate on pillow.
The only complaint but not much of one was the towels and a pillow case were no longer white. Not sure if towels were yellowed with age or washed out yellow. However did the job
Rooms, car parking, breakfast
Very comfortable with fantastic view, in a central location
Couldn't stay longer
Very very good
Nothing to dislike
