Gudauri Inn

It is more of a ski lodge on the mountain. I heard it is very happening in winter. The mountain view from our room was stunning. Breakfast was nice - croissants ran out fast but was not replenished fast enough. Overall enjoyable stay.

Gudauri inn was really the one of the best hotels i've ever been too,also the best staff and food. 10/10 experience and joy❤️

What a lovely hotel! Stayed with my friends for the weekend and we loved everything they had to offer. The breakfast choices are amazing and the views are superb. Highly recommended!

An pathetic experience! The wifi didn't work for the first 24hrs. Check in took forever as the hotels system was down and they didn't have a back up. The rooms are clean but very basic. The towns electricity was down and the hotel only had emergency lights for the night/morning (no complete generator back)...so couldn't charge our phones or use the kettle for coffee. No room service coffee available till their staff arrive at 7.30. The breakfast buffet was limited and cold (no eggs to order). Renovation works seem to be ongoing outside. The hotel is obviously very short staffed- the ones on duty were trying their best but understandably not successful since it was full occupancy. ( 1 waitress for an entire restaurant!!!). The one good thing was the spa which was not short staffed & ran well. In short, would highly recommend avoiding this hotel unless you have no choice and only looking for a basic lodge for a night.

Excellent location. The rooms are so clean and tidy. The balcony was a plus as you watch the mountains and gives you really breathtaking views from the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool area as well. The breakfast and food was great.

Receptionist who checked us in was good, but rest of staff not welcoming at all. Room upgrade was ok but seemed unfinished or lack of furniture. Views on the mountains are amazing, If you can cover your sight and unsee all the trash around the property. Breakfast was quite good. Spa and swimming pool is available for extra charge but affordable. Can become an amazing hotel.

Disgusting hotel with very rude reception management. They literally stole New Year’s Eve for me and my friends. They have organized “Gala dinner “ which has been everything but gala dinner. We had to search for other restaurant in order to feed ourselves. Group of 10 people who has paid 2500 Gel. We have been mistreated from the manager. Her attitude was unbelievable. I really want to speak with the owner to ask where he/she has found this kind of unpleasant staff member.
After new years eve experience, she had audacity to woke us up with very laud noise and rude tone just because she knew we had dog and she assumed my dog messed up in the hallway .
I would never go again in this hotel.
I am not even talking about dirt and cigarette smell in the room. Half of the lights were not working i literally had to go to the other side of the bulding in my friends room just to have enough lights to apply makeup.

Nice rooms, plenty of storage. Comfortable bed. Tea/Cofee and good Wi-Fi. Bathroom has good walk in shower. Radiator heating in the room. Food was a buffet and was of good quality. Staff were pleasant. Considering where it is situated, a nice hotel.

A vacation was meant to be a relaxing turned into a frustrating experience, largely due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of your staff.

From the moment we arrived, we were met with dismissive and unwelcoming attitudes. It was clear that the staff had little interest in assisting us, and at times, their tone and behavior were downright rude. We encountered multiple instances where our reasonable requests were met with impatience or ignored entirely, leaving us feeling disrespected and undervalued as guests.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and it severely impacted our ability to enjoy our vacation. We chose your hotel expecting a high level of hospitality (as you classify yourself 4* and No1 on trip advisor) and professionalism, but unfortunately, this was far from our experience.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously and ensure that future guests do not face the same issues. I trust that you will investigate this matter and address it appropriately.

To highlight, reception staff was extremely rude & unhelpful... mainly morning & night shift team!

The hotel was clean and in a good location, the price was also decent. However, a small effort in training of the staff will go a long way.
The restaurant needs to change and serve better food. We stopped eating there and spent our money on other restaurants in town.
Also the bar: We aske for advice on Georgian wine and the bar tender said I don't like wine!

Wonderful place to stay with family and kids, have very nice restaurant and kids menu.
Great view from the room, good clean and everything you can find at your room, you might need during traveling.
Kind and helpful staff, reception workers 24/7. Good breakfast. near to the supermarket and pharmacy.

Excellent location. It's not at higher elevation in Gudauri, but the hotel is located right at the edge of valley and gives some breath taking views of mountains.
We stayed at Room No. 516, which has the best views - two balconies and both giving mountain and valley views.
The beds (mattress) were firm and gave us sound sleep. Unfortunately, there was construction work and sound disturbance as the hotel is adding 3rd building (expanding the hotel).
The breakfast and food was great. The hotel staff was very good and always ready to help. They make sure that the guests are having good times. The hotel do offer sight seeing services; we did not take it as we already had decided our tour plan. SPAR is just 5 mins away to grab some stuff.
We stayed here for 2 nights and had really good time.

First and foremost, I want to reiterate that this establishment falls far short of being classified as a 4-star property; it is more accurately described as a 2-star lodge. Aside from its location, there are no positive aspects to mention about this property. On our first day at the hotel in Georgia, Mr. Mesho assisted us with our luggage. However, when I informed him that he could leave, he seemed to be expecting a tip and proceeded to repeatedly shout "yes, please" in an attempt to annoy us. It is regrettable that individuals like Mr. Mesho contribute to perpetuating stereotypes about Georgia and its hospitality. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel, as the lighting in the rooms and washroom is extremely poor, making it unsuitable for makeup and hair styling. Furthermore, the pool table and foosball table lack necessary equipment, as the hotel informed us that some guests had lost it and they had failed to replace it. In addition to these issues, the breakfast is subpar with limited options for vegetarians, and to exacerbate matters, there is no toaster available for the bread. Overall, if you wish to ruin your vacation, I recommend avoiding this lodge managed by impolite individuals.

I stayed at the Gudauri Inn, a four-star hotel in Georgia, on February 26, 2024. The hotel is located in a nice area, close to the ski resort and other attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

However, I had a disappointing experience with the reception manager, who was rude and unprofessional. She had a bad attitude from the beginning and did not handle my complaint properly. I ordered three margherita pizzas from the hotel restaurant, but one of them had a burnt base and was inedible. I returned it, but they refused to replace it or refund me because the kitchen was closed. The next morning, I asked the reception manager about it, but she was sarcastic and dismissive. She said, “Sorry, your pizza was burnt and we could not do anything about it.” I felt insulted and frustrated by her response.

The rest of the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, but the reception manager ruined my impression of the hotel. I think she needs to improve her customer service skills and learn how to deal with complaints in a respectful and professional manner.

Overall, I would rate the hotel 1 out of 5 stars. It has a lot of potential, but it needs to work on its management and communication. I hope they can address these issues and provide a better service to their guests in the future.

Nice and clean hotel , restaurant and rooms . Location is convenient near the ski area and restaurants. Room is functional and comfortable with some having spectacular views from the balcony. Need to specifically ask for these rooms.

The pain points of our stay - the room heating is not well designed, it ends up making the room too dry and gave us a sleepless night. We figured it out the second night and slept better. The breakfast and dinner buffet seemed almost the same in the cold buffet section. The tea/coffee maker in the room doesn’t have milk powder or creamer. One could only have black coffee.

Worst hotel & staff.. Rooms are too small.. At reception that lady was very rude & worst. She don't have capability to handle customers.. Food was very pathetic & worst.. Staff was not properly trained. Worst service I have ever seen in my life. There is no zero rating otherwise will select Zero only..
